  1. I humbly disagree about him having a point. This is not the 1920's when it is assumed that a woman who is a stay at home mom is always going to be a hausfrau. I just graduated the ADN program, and I have two boys 2 and 6. My husband and family supported me. Try and find an alternate babysitter if your husband is not interesting in taking accountability for his children when mom is busy. My husband is getting all weird now too now that I am about to making more money than him after being a dependent housewife for 6 years. Don't let any man ever stand in your way girl.
  2. My advice may not mean much as I am currently an PN student...but it is to my understanding that in the real world we often have to take the job we don't want before we can get the job we really want. Have you considered looking into any LTC positions? it's not ideal but it would give you some floor experience.
  3. Congradulations! Enjoy your new life as a nurse!
  4. I got A's in all of my previous science courses but I know there are a few people who were more B students that got in.
