  1. I'm graduating in December with my BSN and i have been able to work Saturdays and Sundays only. I make it a point not to work the night before an exam so I can study and keep things fresh in my head. My grades are great and I don't slack... So just because I work doesn't mean I'm passing with the bare minimum. :) it is possible!!
  2. One trick that helps me taking a nursing exam (that a professor taught my class) was to never change your answer! Because more times than not your changing the right answer. What helped me on fundamentals was reading the Taylor, but focusing in on what the teacher taught about. Especially if they give a study guide for the exam. Sometimes it helps to underline key words in the question so you know exactly what you're looking for. Sometimes the answer will directly relate to those key words.
  3. You definitely need to report this. I think that is inappropriate! I wouldn't trust a professor like that in all honesty. So much for learning holistic nursing in that class?
  4. A tough instructor can be a blessing in disguise. I just finished my peds clincal and my instructor was the same way. If it taught me anything it was how to have thick skin and how to work under pressure. Someone said earlier not believe everything you read and that's very true- go by what you think of the instructor. Be prepared with your assessments and meds. I am sure you'll do great! Just relax :)
