    I worked in an ICU before coming to the ER and I will never forget this sweet lady who tried her best to give us all the cash she had ( all of her $2-3) ... We gratefully said no ma'am it was our pleasure and so on but as these ladies tend to be she would not take no for an answer, so she asked what kind of soda we liked and quickly made her daughter go to the vending area and then "secretly deliver" them to our desk... We came to thank her all she wanted was to give us a kiss on the cheek ... Such a wonderful experience to keep us going when it gets tough
