  1. That's great to hear. I'll be moving to Wilmington next month and have a Skype interview tomorrow. What kind of floor do you work on? The position I am interviewing for is on a Diabetes/Medicine floor. I have a little over one year on a med/surg floor. Thanks!
  2. Hi, my husband and I are moving to Wilmington next month because of a job transfer he received. I have one year experience on a med/surg floor. I have a Skype interview tomorrow for a night position on the 6th floor at NHRMC. Any advice? I'm also wondering about pay. I'm from NY, I make 23.56 base rate, plus 4/hr overnight. Thank you!
  3. I can completely relate. My anxiety/stress level is at an all time high after working as a new nurse on a med/surg floor for the past 6 months. I'm looking to get into aesthetics nursing, which was my original goal with going to nursing school. Good luck to you with you decision. The way I look at it, I have one life. I deserve to be happy and have a balanced life where I can be the best mom and wife.
  4. Any advice for a new RN with 6 months med/surg experience with 3 years as a licensed aesthetician?
  5. This post is extremely inspiring to me! I've been a licensed aesthetician since 2010, and I just graduated nursing school in May 2014. My goal going into nursing was to work as an Aesthetic RN in a plastics/derm/med spa setting. I have been working on a med-surg unit at a local hospital for almost 6 months to get experience but I'm at the point where I'm ready to start doing what I love! Thanks for this post, gives me hope :-)
  6. I am an RN student, working on my associate's degree and I plan on starting my BSN while working after graduation. Eventually I would like to become a NP, specializing in preventative care using nutrition, exercise and herbal remedies. Are there any NP's out there in that field with any advice for me?
