I would like to join!

I did mine prior and uploaded it with my app. I'm concerned this is incorrect. Did you do the same thing and was there a delay?

Wow, cutoffs were high this cohort. I just received an email stating Total score cut-off: 86.28 Average Essay that got in: 4.23 Average TEAS that got in: 88.81 Average Overall that got in: 90.02

I got in too! So relieved!!

I found out my score the day that email went out to us. Both my scores were in and both gave me a 4.

It's taken me all week to come to grips with this news...I got a 4/5 on the essay. What did you get?

I have a bachelor degree in Business Management as well as my LVN.

Yes, we are all just ranked by our scores regardless of the LVN license. I am a post bachelor applicant now.

We all got the same e-mail. They have decided to review the entire curriculum and they decided to not have the LVN to BSN program at all this cohort. There were 42 or 43 of us that applied and waited. SO UPSETTING.

Hi all, My application and scores are transferred over to this cohort because after 6 weeks of waiting to see if I got in to the LVN - BSN program, they are not having a cohort 11 at all! It's pretty unbelievable. I spoke with the Nursing dept today and there were 140 or so applicants for cohort 58 and 42 or 43 applicants for the LVN-BSN cohort 11. Good luck to everyone testing next week!

So, there is no LVN to BSN program at all. I am not happy. I called after another applicant texted me. I have transferred my application to the cohort 58 pool. I wonder what in the world happened. I can't believe it.

I practiced for about a week before the essay. I had a general idea of the possible prompts that were going to be asked and I feel decent about it. That one hour goes by really fast. I am so ready to find out if I got in. Hope we find out soon!

Wow! Amazing score on your TEAS!! I have a 4.0 GPA and 90.7 on TEAS. I haven't heard anything regarding the result. I called last week and didn't hear anything back. How did your essay go? I'm just hoping I did well enough on it to get in.

GPA: move the decimal over one place. If you have a 4.0 it's 40 points or 3.75 it's 37.5 points TEAS: take TEAS score times 40%. If you have an 80% it's 32 points ESSAY: is the percentage times 20%. If you have a 4/5, it's 4 divided by 5 times 20% = 16 points

They said 4 to 6 weeks, so we should find out by the end of this week. My friend applied for the post Bachelor BSN program, Cohort 56 (I think), and they had to wait almost 8 weeks to find out. I think I'll call. Do you all know your point totals so far minus the essay?

On the 17th the group was pretty small as well, maybe 25. Gosh LA....that must have been a long day.

At the nursing forum they gave out the cutoffs for last years LVN to BSN cohort but I can't remember. I know the post Bachelor BSN program had a cutoff of 86 or 87. If I can find my notes, I will post. Did you take your test on the 17th? How did your essay go?

Yes, they said 4 to 6 weeks. How'd your essay go? Have you applied before or anywhere else? This is my first time. I hope I get in.

Took my TEAS today, got a 90.7 and did my proctored essay. Now it's just waiting time!! I wish there were others on here going for this cohort.

Hi! My name is Janice and I applied for the LVN to BSN program at National University in August and just got my test date for the TEAS and essay. I wanted to start a thread so we can all talk and bounce ideas off each other. My test date is September 17th and I'm super nervous! I've got two study guides for the TEAS and I'm starting to study now.....ugggggh. (should have started sooner!) I also contacted the writing department last week and will do a few practice essays to prepare. Please comment if you have applied....let's chat!
