Wask- I am doing it and can I just say they are HORRRIBLE. i never did any financial aid while getting my bachelors!,Anways, I went up to the school on Wednesday and got my letter yesterday. They didnt offer me but one loan thats the amount of the program (keep in mind I have zero in loans currently) so I emailed and asked what I needed to do to get more BC I would like to be able to go part time or quit work and still eat and pay my mortgage. I dunno what I am gonna do!Any advice would be GREAT since ive never done this! @hung- you may hit up the other bapnap forums (2012) we are the ones that will start the program in June!

And lord...im can whenever since im back from bahamas vaca! Just tell me when and where!

Sorry, I just saw this! Thanks for the info. Ive gotta get my last varicella vacc and im trying to get things lined out with financial aid. Anyone else having trouble with them? This is the first time ive ever had to do financial aid..and well id rather someone punch me, ridiculous!! Drinks......well there's always louies bar and grill, hudsons, cross eyes moose, or any restaurant!

Hi Alex! Are you new? if so congrats on getting in! I believe the class we need is BLS for healthcare workers?? Could be wrong though! Can we turn or clinical preference sheet in independently of the rest of our pack?

I have worked at both baptist and deaconess er and love them both. I am currently still working at one of the deaconess physician clinics and hoping to go part time.

Adb! Im sorry....it took me 11 years to get in (sad to admit) so dont give up! Im holding out hope also....I have read several things about people dropping after orientation and I know someone who got a call the Friday before thr program started! Just make sure you have your stuff lines out just in case! After you get your pre's done,you will get in no problem!

--YAYAYA Congrats! I hope your as excited as I am. I choose Baptist, Deaconess and Southwest. I would like to do at least one rotation at McBride though since it's mainly ortho. --Is anyone planning on working full or part time? I would like to at least work some; however, I am not sure how the program is set up at all, so I guess we shall see!! --I would def like to get together with everyone before we start....and Im always okay with having a drink :) I will be in the Bahamas the first week of April, but any other time I would be glad to meet up!

ADB, thank you. I sure hope we all get in! If we are concerned enough to search out an online forum we are all pretty dedicated....or smarter than the other applicants so just let us in!! Jkjk...kinda! Iwould be more than willing to go have a beer....and several if I dont get in hahaha! Hopefully I still get to have somewhat of a social life if I get in :/

I wish I could go back also and be more focused! Im trying not to stress about getting in. I have all the pre-reqs done but only a 2.9 or 3 gpa. I guess the good news is if we don't get in we all have bachelors degrees so our "fall back plan" is nicer than most lol! Seeing as they changed the admission requirements due to the low number of applicants, I imagine quite a few of the 90 are still finishing up their pre's. That's just a guess, but it makes sense to me!
