  1. Im passing the quebec oiiq licencing exam in 2 days and studyed a total of 3 days... And i feel ready... Feels kinda weird that im not stressed!
  2. Yeah ive been told by ,multiple teachers and fellowe older grads that our college exam is worst than the boards exam... And i managed to pass my college exams without studying with the exception of peds and psychiatry... So i should b not too bad... Hopefully!!!
  3. Thnks for the advice :) ill try to cut back but i swear its hard.... When im not working i get bored!!!
  4. Thanks! :) im so un motivated to study i work full time plus double shifts... I mean i just dont feel like stdying when i have time off... But i guess its worth it
  5. Oh i know what you are goin through... Im doing my oiiq exam in a month with those dam ECOS!!!
  6. Osce is HELL! Sorry! I have to go pass my huge exams in 1 moth... 4 h written 200 question rxam and 4-5h 20 station OSCE... Let me explain how it goes down... Every station you face a doir ( pt room) when you enter u have 10 minutes ti read the given situation amd then act according to what is asked of you with a "patient" there to act it out for you... Bell rings finised or not you go out... And you move on to the next one... But tricky thing is you can have a peds door followed by a surg door followed by a psyc door followed by a give a report for your patient to the doctor door... So your brain is bassically a huge mess for that whole 4-5 hours... I sweat its HELL!!! Sorry got nithing good to say about that exam...
  7. Oh by the way... Being a nurse kicks ass... Seriousely! I went into NS as a temporary thing and now im heading into assistant head nurse job and to my bachelors degree in NUrsing... So just keep your head above water and go kick some ass
  8. The first year is the worst... Teacher would tell us the first year is easy wait till u get to 3rd semester ir will be pulling your hair out overload... And quite franckly... It wasnt... You get used to the routine and lack of time sleep and food... You start dropping the fancy clothes on school days and opt for sweat pants right out of bed so you save that 30 minutes choosing your outfit for 30 minutes more sleep... You might also want to turn off anythingbthat might disturb you... Phone computer internet for that matter... Seems crazy i know... But seriousely i tried it and tested it out and i saved in a ahole day of studying over 3h i spent on facebook /twitter instead of workig on school stuff and ending up having to pull an allnighter... Somyeah every little thing that slows you down no matter how good they seem if not necessary... Push them back until you are done... Once everything is done the satisfaction is that much better! ( from experiance... Fresh new grad)
  9. OMG im starting to freack out im having my boards for my full licence to be a RN here in canada and im freaking out... Havent started to stufy yet and ehen i do read from my prep book, seems like i know everything already!?! Which is clearly impossible... What should i do!!!!

  12. BOB! Get back here! Ive got the kids to deal with after! Set the example you big cry baby!
  13. New biggest looser challenge: dont let the nurse with that huge needle stick it to you!
  14. Come on big boy...its not even going near your butt...
  15. I kimda solved the problem... Im heavy chested and always felt tight in my scrubs top... So since its not againt our hospital policy to wear regular shirts, i bought very light t shifts hat i wear a light camisole underneath and im good to go... Very comfy since its more stretchy than scrubs top... I just miss those 2 front pockets though...
