UCLA New Grad RN 2013
I also emailed *** *****and she stated that applications will most likely be accepted the first week of march. And as db2xs already stated, check the website ticker in feb for the details and the exact date. I am also a super user and she stated that all super users will get an email when they post (I don't know if we get an advantage being an internal). But from what I heard from a fellow new grad super user who talked with **** she stated that all new grads super users are guaranteed an interview! I am not 100% sure though just stating what I heard. So it is imperative for super users to get in touch with the managers on the floor :) good luck !

BSN or ADN?
As Samantha has stated, new grad unemployment (BSN/RN) is very very high in California. In my opinion, I would advise you to pursue your BSN because a lot of hospitals (that I have looked into) recommend having your BSN. You also got to remember which would give you a better chance of getting a job. If you graduate with your ADN/RN, would hospitals hire you over a new grad BSN/RN? What will you bring to the table? Good Luck!

Starting Pay for New Grads RN's in Southern CA
Hi all, I have been trying to find accurate information about the starting salaries in a hospital environment around southern CA (preferably OC/LA county) and all the information I have come across were outdated. I was wondering if anyone can provide me insight on the starting hourly wage for New Grads in Socal, which hospital, and if it was due to a New Grad program or a regular nurse position. Thanks soo much! :) cheers! P.S. partial information would still help! thanks. P.S. I'm specifically looking for BSN RN New Grads
