  1. That's way too expensive. Maybe you can look online for free CNA training in your area. If not available, then you can search for local CNA training programs. In Houston, I would have to pay roughly 550-600 dollars at my local CNA program. Yeah, so just do some research and call around to compare prices.
  2. Stupid question: What's the difference between a PCT and a CNA? I'm curious about their role responsibilities. I know you have to go to a training program and get certified as a CNA, but what about a PCT? As for job demands, is there an advantage for one over the other? Any info will help - thanks!
  3. Hey everyone. Unfortunately, I'm in the same dilemma as TTexasTT. I really don't have the financial means to go back to school and do everything again. I was hoping to just take refresher courses, but I don't think I qualify because I haven't passed the Nclex yet (sighs). I was wondering what other alternatives that I can take. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
