  1. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! :)
  2. I have a friend who got the same letter. Im not sure when you guys will find out. I was told at the information session that the wait list is small and most have a good chance of getting in. I know 3 people who are turning down their spots so fingers crossed! Does anyone know how long the vaccinations and titers take? I have my appointment doctors appointment for June 11th but I am worried about getting all of the paper work in before the deadline. Do you just have to show that you have started some of them, or do they have to be completed? I thought the Hepatitis ones care done throughout 6 months. -Kel
  3. After 5 days of anxiously waiting for the mailman, annoying the admissions office with phone calls, and visiting 3 different post offices and fighting them to check their stash (I never got the failed delivery slip that they NEEDED the number off of)...I FINALLY have my acceptance letter in hand! See you all June 10th! @Kli4, thanks for the info on Jennifer, she was a great help. -Kel
  4. I called but they said they can't give information over the phone. More waiting...Im starting to get worried that its not coming. -Kel
  5. I was told by the admissions office that acceptance letters wouldn't be sent out till May 31st, but a few people on this thread... https://allnurses.com/maryland-state-...443-page2.html ...said they just them in the mail. If you are waiting to hear, make sure you have someone home the next few days to sign for the package. UGH, Im so nervous. Good luck everyone. (My GPA and TEA scores were way above the min but I am worried because I have every non-nursing course done besides the second english. I will be so upset if I don't get in just because of that!) -Kel

  7. NOTHING. I sat home all day worried that I would miss the mail (not bad because I was able to get a ton of pathophysiology studying done) but sucks because nothing came. My GPA and TEA scores were way above the min, and I every single non-nursing class completed besides the second english class (just finished it but it didn't count when I applied). I am so nervous that just because I didn't have that one class that I wont get it. Hope everyone hears soon, this waiting sucks! -Kel
  8. Montgomery College already sent out acceptance letters???? Crap, I was out of town Thursday-Sunday. I don't think I am going to be able to sleep until I find out! Congrats @Samist and @Sadesh9936! -Kel
  9. I was told at the information session last month that there are around 100 spots this coming Fall semester because they got grant money to add more students. They mentioned there is a VERY SMALL wait list in case a few students choose to turn down their spot. I am beyond nervous/excited to (hopefully) get my acceptance letter in June! -Kel
  10. Hey everyone, A classmate of mine called the office this week, they said that if all goes well they are planning on sending out acceptance letters on May 30th. Plan on having someone home the first week of June around the times your mail man comes because it has to be signed for. -Kel
  11. As far as I know GPA and TEAS score are the things that are not flexible. However, I think I remember an email going out that they lowered the minimum TEAS requirements again. Just looked it up and the total score has been changed to 66% and reading to 70%. Hope that helps you. Admissions -Kel
  12. I was wondering if anyone from the Fall 2012 program could help me out. I literally have EVERY single non-nursing course done besides EN102, which I am taking at the moment. I went to the information session today pretty confident that I wouldn't have an issue getting accepted into the Fall 2013 program. At the information session they said that for Spring sessions that I would most likely 100% get in with 3 out of the 4 priority classes completed, but because Fall has more applicants, I have a much less likelihood of being excepted. I came home really discouraged. I REALLY REALLY want to be able to start in the Fall and not have to wait until the following spring to start nursing classes. I am even taking pathophysiology right now so I wont even have anything to take during the fall to pass the time and I feel like it will be such a waste. I have a 3.2 GPA and got 90% on the reading section of the TEAS (which I know others have problems with), but I guess none of that matters if they don't even get to my applications because I don't have all four priority classes done. (I am taking EN109 at the moment to finish off the priority classes, but they tell me that will not count because it finishes a few weeks after applications are due) Long story short, my question is, did any of you get into the Fall program with only have 3 of the 4 priority classes. Any opinions on my chances of getting in for Fall 2013? Thanks for any help, Kel
