For me it took like 9 months due to small mistake our lecturer mad while filling the cgfns forms, normal time period max 4to5 months this was from my frds experience . Mistakes will delay the cgfns ces process.if No mistake while filling the form u will get it done within the time frame .

Hi chizzy once you are done with ur cgfns ces reports it will take one to two months to get ATT from board after u sent an application with finger print reports to board of nursing . 1. Cgfns report to BON 2.written application to BON 3. Finger print report to BON via live scan vendor or biometric . Ur story similar to my experience I can strong suggest u ncsbn really worth of studying for nclex when I gave my exam I felt test was easer than ncsbn . Just practice and practice u can do this u are topper in ur school so sure u will win in this nclex war . All the best for ur exam .

Illinois board of nursing will allow you to sit for nclex without SSN , USA valid SSN only required during your license number renewal . They will give you temporary SSN number to appear for your exam . But when I applied for 2nd time via online they asked me to fill SSN with all 9s this only for those who does not have their SSN number . I appeared my exam with out SSN number when I got my result in that from I saw last 4digit of temporary SSN number.

I did not get you yasmine , if you are asking about nclex rn examination - look into below link http://www.idfpr.com/Renewals/apply/forms/rn-en.pdf You will need to fill the instruction sheet(examination part ) attach criminal back ground from which you will get from your city police station , then send this to board of nursing , and mail your finger print card to ISP or any live scan vender , they will send your finger print result to board of nursing if everything ok with your form and finger prints then they will send you ATT by mail . And your finger print results are valid for 3 years .

Yes , you will need to fingerprinted and sent that form to ISP & this will charge you like around $34 change , other wise if you live near to Illinois state you can go to approved live scan vendor , for this you do not need finger print card just make a appointment with them , they will scan your finger prints and give a form for proof ,and they will do the remaining process , the finger print just valid for 60-90 days according their policies . This will charge around $60.

If your application expires If your initial application expires, you may qualify for a reprocess application. You are given 12 months to meet the requirements of the initial application order, after which it expires. If an initial application that has been paid in full expires, you have up to 12 months to apply for a reprocess (another 12 months on that application) and fully pay the reprocess fee listed in the fees table at http:// http://www.cgfns.org/sections/apply/fees.shtml#5. If you have NOT paid in full, or if fees paid were applied to previous services, and the initial application order expires, you do not qualify for the reprocess, but must submit a new application and pay the full fee to have 12 months to process the application and complete all the requirements. Thanks Esme12 for your response , yes I just cleared nclex rn , but I have a fear in future again I have to sit for exam,for any reason I don't wanna lose my license if get , I can not do this any more , actually I was trying to call them they are not responding but e-mail them waiting for their response . Hey guys can you help me with this situation I am in H4 visa I do not have SSN but Illinois state requires SSN for RN license renewal . I have very less chances to get H1b . Does any one go thru with this situation . Is there any way i can request them to renew license , I really appreciate for your response . thank you .

Hi jazzyoneRN I recently passed my nclex rn under Illinois BON , I did not receive my license but its in process maybe in 4 weeks am gonna get my license .thing is I want to apply for Michigan board of nursing by endorsement . Once I get license in Illinois without working (experience) in Illinois state, will they allow me to apply for endorsement to any other state ?.but I am gonna choose Michigan . Please can you help me with this question for long I was trying to get answer from Illinois BON but they always put me in hold for long time.

I appeared for my exam on 3/30/2013 .

My 1st attempt - I took Kaplan, I use to get 50-60% but i did not clear my exam I felt Kaplan course easier than BON exam . 2nd attempt- self study 3rd attempt - this time I need it badly so sat for 2 months almost 12hrs a day .I want to spend more time on studying but with kid I was not able to make it more than 12 hrs . I took 8weeks ncsbn review course & Lacharity pdf 1-14chapters Kaplan 2011-2013 questioner But I felt really good with ncsbn online review course. I love pharmacology I use get 70-80% Remaining topics my scores was- always between 55-70% .

Atlost passed on my 3rd attempt.I am so happy:) Thank you so much for your help during my preparation.
