  1. Thank you so much for your reply! I just left the interview and I think it went really well. I liked the manager and the feel of the unit. I also think she really liked me. Your advice was helpful and I felt prepared going in. Hoping to get another call soon. I know the process can take a while but I know this company follows up with you even if they don't decide to hire you.
  2. Hi all! I am posting because I have an interview tomorrow on a pediatric floor (low acuity). I am a newer nurse (2.5 years on the floor). I did 1.5 years on a cardiac stepdown at a large hospital with high acuity. I have been on a labor/delivery/recovery /postpartum floor for a year. My question is, what do you find to be the biggest challenge in your job? What do you find to be the best part of your job? What do you think some interview questions might be? I have many thoughts on these questions but I want to go in with an orificenal of thoughts. Thanks in advance!
  3. Congratulations! I know how you felt, it's a HUGE deal. I tested at 2pm today. I was soooo scared as well. I could barely breathe and I am not normally an anxious person. Also in ohio. 75 questions and the good pop up. Phew!
  4. What do you folks mean by the trick "didn't work" and let you down? Taking it soon and will literally go bonkers if I can't get at least some idea if I passed immediately.
  5. It is not true that you can not transfer your credits to a bachelors degree program. I spoke with Ohio University and they will be glad to have us (tric grads). Phew! To answer the OP, I think you should stay. The rn to bsn program at OU is online and takes less than 2 years. You'll have your bsn before the other students even get IN to another program. I'm sure someone will hire you, you will be an RN that passed the nclex. If the worst thing imaginable happens, and they will not hire you as an rn, hospitals are dying for good pcna's. Good luck. I know this has been a nightmare.
  6. Does anyone know what "accreditation with conditions" means? The Plain Dealer stated that it was a downgraded accreditation. Is this true? Can't find any info.
  7. I will keep a deliberate pace. Let the damn breeze dry my face! - Fiona Apple
