  1. I'm also applying for spring 2014! I have a bachelors in psychology and am also a little concerned about my undergrad gpa. I take the HESI in a few weeks. We should start a spring thread so we can all discuss as we anxiously await! Best of luck to you and hope to be in class with you in January!!
  2. I was wondering about letters of rec. The school I'm applying to does not require them, but I'm wondering if they would help. I currently work in direct patient care and work with many RNs I know would give me letters of rec if I asked. Just wondering what others thought or experience was and if this could help improve my chances of getting in. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I am required to take the HESI A2 for my nursing school entrance exam. The school I am applying to tests on math, reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, biology and A&P. I have ordered the Admissions Assessment 3rd Ed recommended by the school as well as Barron's Nursing School Entrance Exam 2007 ed and the McGraw Hill Evolve Reach 3 practice tests. For those that have taken the test in those subjects and used those resources do you think this is sufficient coverage for all areas, or is there any other tools that may be of better help? My big struggle areas have always been math. Bio and A&P so these are especially important. Any feedback you can give would be great. Thanks so much.
