I have a friend that is going into his second year at NH and I asked him about the day 1 pop quiz and he said he doesn't remember doing anything like that. Just in case I have been reading over some dosage calculations and getting my basic conversions down! Can't wait until school starts!!

I was also looking for the book. I did see a 118 page "manual" off of the state board website..im wondering if thats what it is referring too. Just wants us to read over it? The most current version is 2009.

I wore a tank top and shorts. You will be with 1 partner and you can close the curtain around the bed so no one can see you. It's not as bad as it sounds! I don't think anyone wore a swimsuit

Just checked my schedule..i didnt get my first, second, or third choice..she stuck me at health south in humble?!?!?!!?!? Nowhere close to where i live...i am baffled honestly. Praying this is some sort of mistake..im in tears and confused.....................

Yes, i got my books on Amazon! I actually just got them in the mail, one of my books was advertised "like new" and i opened it and its WAY used, the cover is starting to come off..i just ordered another one new so hopefully it comes in time! If not, obviously ill used the damaged one. It was only 65 bucks if someone wants it. It is functional just will drive me nuts..if not i will be returning. It's Fundamentals of Nursing, Taylor- Hard cover BIG BOOK!

Just emailed the lady at NH to ask when fall classes would be assigned to us. She sent out an email about lab kits but i cant use my financial aid until i am registered for class to get books or lab kit. (never gotten loans before so i was a little confused on how all this works)

I'm getting so anxious/nervous!!

Yea, some of those books are from Montgomery's book list but not NH, their books are different.

It is ridiculously long.i could scan and email or fax. Or she could email nh nursing department and get it.

I think they said we will use all books every semester..at least thats what they said at NH orientation. Also they said at camp Wanna Win the current nursing students will give you an idea of which books are needed and used the most

Hey guys! I emailed NH and she said street clothes are ok for summer course so far, if they decide differently they will send out an email

I would recommend Grey Anatomy scrubs, they are pretty pricey but in my opinion the best. They DO NOT fade nor wrinkle really, i have some i have had for 4 years and they look the same as my new ones, absolutely love them. Not sure about summer course, they did not mention that in the email.

Didn't realize that at NH we will need to wear our "uniform scrubs" to lab on campus in addition to at clinicals..at Montgomery, they can wear any scrubs to lab on campus..kind of a bummer!

I don't think it meant we had to get it by today i just think she meant because we are registered we can officially go and get it today on..just have to have it by summer courses i believe

Also, did you get an email about your summer course? I have not received anything yet but i was registered for the summer course. My dates showed from July 29th to August 18th though, I paid and was waiting on email for date confirmation.
