Trying NCLEX RN once again after 8 years :-/ I re gained motivation, but lots of changes
I earned my BSN in 2011 and due to personal issues and failing nclex rn a lot I lost my motivation. Last time I took the exam was in 2013. Now, after 8 yrs from graduation, I feel like I want to continue what I started. Just one more step to become a nurse and this horrible nclex. shouldn't be a barrier. I'm trying to stay positive. Since I've been out of nursing for awhile, many things have changed. Some people say read Saunders and then do uworld/kaplan. Other people say studying isn't the best route, because it's all about critical thinking and most of the things are still in your head, it's all about answering questions and questions plus reading rationales because the exam is computer based and not book based. So, I'm not sure which one is best or not. What do you think? What will be the best way to review and do this again?

Health/Nurse Informatics vs Healthcare Administration
I have no experience at all as RN. I graduated in 2011 and after failing NCLEX a few times, I completely lost motivation. I've been doing other things not related to healthcare. My psychiatrist told me if I've considered in going back to school and do a Masters. Now, of course she doesn't know what being qualified/overqualified is when applying for jobs. Anyway, the question isn't about what she is saying. I'd like to know what do you think about it? Should I do a master's in Health Informatics or Administration since it doesn't require a license or am I at risk of never getting a job? Should I make another BA :/ ? I know this is something I have to evaluate, but if I'm posting this here is because I need opinions by experienced ones.

Tips on how to create a schedule to study for the nclex rn for busy people
My schedule at work is random. 6am-3pm, 10-7 or 2-11; 35 hrs/week. I want to pass the nclex rn, because I failed twice already. I got frustrated and now I feel like going back and try to retake it after 2 years. I know I'll need a remedial course, but that's irrelevant at this moment. The priority is passing the nclex and then the rest. I have kaplan review (trainings 1-7) I started the 1st one and got 52% I also have the fast facts lippincott small book. It's helping me to refresh my brain. I think I might try uworld after I finish with kaplan. I've heard is a good review but one at the time. My plan is taking the nclex by January. I don't have an exact date yet, but I'd like to know how to create a decent schedule to study since I can't really quit my job or get less hours. Any tips or suggestions? Also, another question, what topic should I focus more to study (example renal, pharmacology, endocrine, maternity or etc...) I know they're all important but which one has more impact on nclex ? Thanks in regards :)

Help! I earned a BSN in 2011. I became frustrated because of NCLEX RN and strange phobia
I graduated from Nursing school (BSN) and I'm a little confused. First, I failed the damn NCLEX. Second, I don't know if I did right, but I have fear to see someone vomiting. I don't know what to do. I don't mind cleaning/seeing/smelling poop, pee, wounds, blood etc. Gloves and masks exist. I also don't mind cleaning vomit. The phobia is all about seeing the vomit coming out of a persons mouths. I never saw vomit during the clinic. Like I didn't. Not sure if it was "made for me". I love this and I want to do this but a stupid emetophobia is stopping me. I need comments/opinions or anybody around with similar issues? Any meds to cure this?

Masters Degree with no experience in nursing ?
I'm not talking about going back to Nursing or doing an MSN. When I say master's (MA), it means something different than nursing. I'm kinda asking, what could be a good masters (NOT related to Nursing ) I can pursue...

Masters Degree with no experience in nursing ?
Making a masters degree without previous experience in nursing? I earned a BSN 5 years ago, but I found it wasn't the right career for me, so I never took the board exam (nclex). I know it might be challenging to pursue a masters without having any experience as a nurse. After graduating I started working in warehouses and retail stores trying to think what to do with my career. Doing an associate or another bachelors doesn't make sense. So, I'd like to know what I can do. Suggestions? This is a little frustrating. That's why I'm continuing researching around. Some advisors (some online schools) will tell anything 'perfect' to enroll without thinking that I will have debts after plus finding a job won't be easy. I need alternative routes with good advices.

what job can I get with my nursing degree? I never ever passed the NCLEX
I'm aware that is impossible to get a job as a registered nurse without having a license. I only need a good job in something related (healthcare). When I graduated from my bachelor's, I was full of happiness. I studied for the NCLEX-RN really hard and failed twice. I don't know why. After that, I had a medical problem and I couldn't continue with the reviews. It's been 4 years since I graduated and honestly, I don't have faith anymore. Leaving the medical issue behind, today is the day that I haven't stop crying because I never ever passed the nclex and the rest of my former classmates did. I basically wasted 4 years of my life for nothing. The post painful part is, why the nclex? This is all about business, because once you graduate, it should be like any other non-related careers, getting a job. The nclex doesn't make anyone a real nurseâ€. Nobody, absolutely nobody uses the nclex while working in a hospital. That's what makes me madder. At this point it is painful going to a hospital, seeing bunch of nurses of my same age working, happy, busy whatever… and me, completely frustrated. I wish I could live in a world without nurses. Sounds stupid, but this isn't about having something against RNs . Just my frustration. My only hope is finding a better job now, so, I can balance my financial and medical issues. At some point, I only thought about suicide, then I realized it was stupid, but then once again, the word suicide†was inside my head. Right now I don't know what to do…. Going back to the question…?

I need help/advise by those who passed the Nclex RN between 2012-2014.
I really need a NCLEX tips, help, advise o whatever is helpful to pass the NCLEX RN. I graduated in 2011. I took the Nclex in December 2011 and failed, then April 2012 amd failed again. I admit that my study plan is not being the best and the motivation I have from the people around is not being the best. I had a medical issue on February 2012 that I don't want to talk about, but the point is that it was a nightmare being in appointments all the time, follow ups etc. Right now, all I can do is cry, specially when I talk about this, because most of my college friends passed, they are working, having their own things etc. What do I have? Well, you know the answer. At one point I thought I studied the wrong 4 year degree, but sometimes I realize that I really want to do this! I just don't have that motivation or don't know how to structure a good study plan. I tried Kaplan and Saunders the first two times. I know I didn't dedicated enough time to study, however I feel they didn't help. Only for tips, but not for "studying". Right now, the NCLEX has totally changed. I kmow there're many SATA questions. Those are the worst! I know, I'll probably need a refreshing course, but I don't know where. I asked the Board of Nursing here in Texas, but the "helpful" was that I needed to figure out by myself. Like I said, every time I talk/write about nclex I start feeling sad and crying, bc I have no choice. This is being an almost 3 years of nightmares and well, Is there anything you can tell/advise?
