New FNP student at Walden University.
Mark this is very inspiring. I am starting the program June 3rd and I know it is going to be tough. You have done a great job so far, so please keep in touch and let us all know how you are progressing and about any problems you encounter. I work full time and will continue too unless It becomes to unmanageable. I am prepared to go part time if necessary. Thanks again

Walden FNP starts june 03, x2013
I am also starting the FNP program on June 3rd. I am from Texas. I to am very nervous, but looking forward to it. My biggest fear is the writing. I have to admit I am not a good writer. It is going to be a huge adjustment for my family and myself. Walden has not had a graduating class yet. They just started the program last Fall. The only thing I have seen on the FNP blog are students having problems getting preceptors. Good luck all.

That is awesome. Please keep me updated. I sure need some encouraging words from other mothers that have to try and juggle family life and working full time, along with going back to school. I will start at Walden in June. I have a husband and teenage daughter and work full time(5 days a week).

Maryville University or Walden University for FNP
I just got an acceptance letter to Walden In June. I debated between Walden and Maryville. I finally made my decision, thanks to everyone on the blogs commenting so highly of Walden. I just hope I am making the right choice. Its still not to late for me to change my mind.. I will have to work full time at least for the first 6-12 months and hope it is doable. I really would like to take the 18 month route. Any suggestions?

Walden University has new FNP and AGNP Programs
Thank you so much for the info. I also will be starting in the Summer but I will not be able to quit working and wondered how difficult it will be with working full time. I was only planning on taking 2 classes at a time.

Walden University has new FNP and AGNP Programs
I have also been accepted and will start at Walden in June 2013. I am from Texas. I am very excited and wanted to know if it is possible to work full time the first year? I also have applied for student loan, but have not been informed of how much I will receive. Does anyone know how much you get or is it different for everyone. This is the first time I have had to get a student loan.

Cheap online MSN / FNP programs
I have applied to Maryville and Walden NP program. Anyone have any advise on these. They are both totally online. Walden is 18 month completion and Maryville is 24-28 months..

Accredited online NP programs for Texas
I am currently applying to Walden University. They have an FNP program all online. It is available in Texas. The advisors are extremely nice and helpful. You do have to find your own preceptors but it can be MD, DO, or FNP. I had also been looking at Maryville as well as Georgetown. The cost of Georgetown is very costly. . The cost of the program at Walden is around 24,000 and that includes books. It can be done as full time and completed in 18 months or part time.
