  1. caliotter, RNsRWe, and OrganizedChaos Thank you very very much for your input!! I know I'm getting a bit impatient, and I'm definitely a bit discouraged from my failed attempt. But your comments so far is what I thought. I guess I wondered if there were alternative options. But thank you all so much!!
  2. Hello everyone!! I don't know where to begin, so I'll just jump straight into dilemma, and any help and input I can receive would be greatly appreciated!! And thank you for your time and input in advance. Im in the Los Angeles area, and I've failed my 4th semester in an ADN 2-yr program. What alternatives or does anyone know of any schools that take drop out/failed students? I had a financial problem that took a toll in my education. Assuming the financial problem is resolved, are there any schools (including online) that will credit me the 3 "very successful" semesters I had? Even with my failed 4th semester I still stand with a 3.2 GPA. I've considered Western Governors Univ, but they would have me redo the whole program again (2.5 yrs) but end up with a bachelors at the end, that'd mean that by Feb 2018, I'd have a BSN. (Very attractive but yet a huge financial burden and commitment) My school, is offering me the possibility of returning to the program next year, and if I succeed, I'd have an ADN by June 2016. But if I wanted to get an RN sooner, does anyone know other options available for me? I'm willing to go jump into a BSN program if available, but I definitely don't want to put that financial burden on my family for that long. Any input will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
  3. You should have heard from PCC. I got my acceptance letter on Friday April 27, and on Monday April 29, my friend for a letter as an alternate. Just FYI. Though I think PCC still goes by lottery.
