Maybe try a kila? I have a kila regular and cardio and also a Littmann classic and Littmann cardiology. The Littmann is better but the kila is pretty close. The regular kila is about $30. You can sometimes also get deals on littmanns second hand from people who drop out of nursing. My friend bought a hardly used Littmann classic for $25.

Hi! I'm officially begin my LPN diploma in September. I'm currently doing the few courses they will allow you to take ahead of time. I'm looking for guidance from those with experience. :) Were there any additional resources (study guides), etc you found helpful? Are they worth the money? Any suggestions for study techniques? I know this can be subjective to the individual, but as a mother with two little guys I can use any tips I could get. Is it worth buying brand new books to use the online resources, (wileyplus etc)? Also, is there a brand of stethoscope you would recommend? Are the more expensive cardio scopes worth the price? Thank you! I really appreciate any input
