Got a first F! scared of applying
Thanks for all of your advise, i really do appreciate it. Yeah, i know i was being stupid for taking that class . I think that you guys are right, i should drop it. Because so far, my pre-req GPA is 4.0 and if i do manage to get all A this quarter, my GPA will be 3.25 (a raise of 0.25). I could spent the time to study for my pre-req rather than stressing about my math class every single morning.

Got a first F! scared of applying
So last quarter (Spring) i got an F in Calculus class. My GPA dropped from 3.35 to 3.01. It was really miserable because i don't even need that class for General Education nor Pre-Requisites. I took the class because one of my friend begged me to take that class with her and she dropped the class on the last day of dropping without telling me so i was stuck in that miserable class and got an F. But, no more whining for me because the damage has been done. My question is, is there any chance i will get accepted if i'm applying this fall? because i am retaking the class again this quarter (fall) but the professor is even harder than before, i wanted to drop but my friends urge me to stay because i need to apply. However, seeing that the deadline for applying for most school is in November and the date that the grade will be out on January 1st. I see no reason of retaking it if i'm going to get F again. What do you think? What are my chances of getting in? and would it be wise to drop the class and retaking it on winter quarter? I'm in a community college in California. I've done 90% of my pre-req and i've been planning to transfer to some CSU's, USF and some out of state universities. Thank you for taking the time to read this and answering it! :)

Each university have different pre-requisites
and it is killing me because i want to apply to several university in california and outside california but they all have slightly different pre-requisities and i'm confused because i only got 3 quarter left before i have to apply. My friend said that i should apply regardless whether the pre-requsities is different. What do you guys think? (i.e some university wants pharmacy class and some wants organic chemistry)

Community College
Yes. i really appreciated your opinion.. that's what i'm trying to do. Thanks! haha.. btw, one of my friend also said that the less pre-req you have, the greater the chance to get into university. Is that true?

Community College
I'm going in for BSN. The thing is, all my friend are transferring in just 1.5 years (they are not nursing major), so they keep urging me to apply for the same univ. as they are.

Community College
For those of you who have been doing the pre-requisites in community college, i have one question. How long does it take for you to finish the pre-requisites, then finally transferred to four years university? Thanks! Ps : I'm rather confused because all my friends keep urging me to transfer ASAP (even when my pre-reqs are not quite done yet)
