  1. I also studied through my MedSurg book and all the notes I took.
  2. I remember the NCLEX Being easier than those mock boards I took. It was multiple-choice and there's usually two answers you can knock out right away. And there's usually two that could be right. Pick the one that you think best and usually it will give you several different questions if you missed the first one to give you a chance. Almost everyone that I know felt horrible after they walked out from the test and ended up passing. Don't go home and start second guessing your answers and driving yourself nuts by trying to look them up. You will probably do great just take time to read and think things through.
  3. I am an associate degree RN. I got my CCM in January. Did not need a BSN.
  4. As I was stating mine of which you had to comment on. As a professional speaking to a co-worker I would not have made a negative comment to what they said. I would left it alone and went on to my opinion without degrading theirs. And again it does show you can critically think so you must know your stuff.
  5. One more thing. I have an Associates degree. No BSN.
  6. Also I have home health and nursing home background. I have worked for this company for seven years. We don't do workman's comp or much behavioral health which was a good portion of my exam. I had to study those areas well.
  7. I work as a case manager for a UR company. I am CCM certified. I work with many hospital case managers who I believe are very experienced to sit for the CCM and in fact had a few CCM certified give me advice for my exam.
  8. And of course is always a learning and continuing education process.
  9. @ funnygirl the CCM does show you are a professional and experienced in case management and is a nice accomplishment. Wow. I don't know you but no need to be rude. I hope it does mean you "know your stuff"
  10. I took the CCM exam in January and passed. My company is requiring it by 2014. Also I think most places prefer CCM and possibly will require it in the future. It shows you specialize and know your stuff. :). But it is a hard exam and you need at least two years experience and there are some good study material. Check the ccmc site.
