  1. Thanks for all the advice! Keeping my fingers crossed that I can survive =) I am really excited about the position so hopefully the adrenaline and excitement will push me through while I adjust. Time will tell. lol
  2. I start my first ever night shift job in 2 weeks. It will be 3 12's a week. How should i prepare myself? Is it possible to sleep at night with my husband on my days off? Any advice is greatly appreciated =)
  3. Mine was posted shortly after noon yesterday! Not even 24 hours after my appointment.
  4. How did you already find out? Congratulations!!!!
  5. Ok. Wonder what I can take to sleep for the next 30 hours =)
  6. Oh my! This just has my anxiety sky high!! Congratulations!!!! I hope and pray I can be saying the same thing tomorrow!!! Did your license number come up before or yet? Was it 48 hours after your test beginning time or end time?
  7. I did. I got the pop up but I just don't trust it. I had a lot of SATA's and tons of priority questions which made me question if I was missing them.
  8. OK, well my number is still there, I tested yesterday, so fingers crossed!!! I do not want to go through that again! lol
  9. I am getting anxious. Wanting to know how long it has taken people to get their Louisiana BON license #. Thanks!!!
  10. Thank you! I will try the public library! I also haven't tried a planned parenthood, never would have thought of that. Thank you!
  11. I have to right a paper for Legal about H.R. 111 Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act and have to include an article. I have been looking for 3 weeks and can not find one that doesn't cost a fortune! Does anyone have any advice about finding an article related to minimum hospital stay or 2nd opinion visits for mastectomy patients? THANK YOU!
  12. Couldn't agree more with the post above. I too and a last semester student and You can do it! This is a point in life where you really are just going to have to take it day by day. I also use the success book series and LOVE them. The more questions you can do with rationales to right and wrong answers, the better. Remember, we are in nursing school. You have already taken Micro and A&P. Yes, you need to have a basic understanding but we are tested on what nurses do r/t disease processes and illness. Don't get caught up on the nitty gritty like I did my first 2 semesters. Focus on Assessments, Interventions, Goals etc. Good Luck! You have this!
  13. Thanks so much for all the info! Hoping to pull through yet another, and final might I add, semester!! Good luck everyone!
  14. Anyone have any advice on Med Surg 2?
