I am interested in attending University of Calgary for their 24 month RN program starting in January. I am not from Alberta and have no connections. I was wondering how the situation is with new grads finding work after graduating in the province. I read on other postings that the rural areas have opportunities. Does the school assist in helping students find work after graduation? Do recruiters come to school? I am just wondering how the process works. Thanks in advance!

Where did you take this course?

I've been trying to take advantange of all the free time I have since I am not in school right now. I've been working, doing music, partying, watching tv and movies, exercising, spending time with friends and family. I may not have this much free time again so I am just living life.

When I applied for August 2017 intake I opened my transcript envelope and took pictures of the front and back and converted it to pdf and submitted it to them. I think they may or may not request an "official" transcript after.

According to my e-mail records it took them 15 days to reply. I didn't receive any other information about the process.

A while back I asked admissions when we will hear whether we're accepted in the program or not. I received a reply today saying they will inform applicants of the admission decision in mid-April.

I didnt receive an email either. I just checked and received provisional acceptance. Good luck to everyone still waiting and I cant wait until august now

you were right it took them 5 weeks to process my transcripts but they eventually did

Does anyone else find the process of applying frustrating? I sent my transcripts to BCIT from my other institutions more than once and they have told me via mycommunication that they are missing them. In addition I called the admissions officer many times for days and got no reply back and also got no reply for my email.

I'm 22 years old, applied with 141 credits which includes a psychology degree, a bunch of volunteer and work experience not directly related to health care, and an A&P course taken at a private school. I applied on the last day December 14. Anyone receive any news whether they've been accepted or not?
