  1. Thanks for replying. I really don't know what a remedial course is but I know it's different from a refresher course because they told me that I can't take a refresher course. Since it's hard to contact the IDPR I emailed them asking what is a remedial course is they told me "A remedial course is designed to remediate graduate nurses who fail to pass the examination within three years. A Current Nursing Practice Update Course is designed to prepare nurses for re-entering the profession after being out of practice for over five years." I'm still confuse from what this says. Do I have to take a full rn course again or if I can just take a review course to help me pass the board. I still don't know. That's why I want to know if anyone is in the same boat as me.
  2. Has anyone had to take a remedial course for rn? If you have please let me know what course you took, the cost, and was it helpful in passing the board. It has to be Illinois state approve. Thanks to anyone that can help me.
