  1. i apologize if i came across negative. im actually looking foward to working with everybody i come across.. whether the experience is positive or not as positive as i may like.
  2. Great article.. Question tho.. Where do all you nice nurses work b/c I wanna work there... Im dreading the day I start and say good morning and a "old school" nurse greets me snarling saying "gooo awaaaay"
  3. Nah dont feel bad. We havent dissected anything yet. I think all were going to do is a cows eye and things small like that. But all of that is like in a month..
  4. Cool.. good luck... I just got finished learning the skin (so to speak), now Im going onto junctions and whatnot and ending on muscles... We only have 2 lab practical exams. The first one had the bones on it, it wasnt that bad. I hope you do well on ur essay and quiz.
  5. Whats going on everyone? I have a test on monday on The Integumentary System, Skeletal System, Articulations and the Muscular System. Anyone in the same boat? Feel free to contact me.. [email protected]
  6. I am about to embark into the nursing field and I had a couple of questions. I hope some of you can help. Currently, I am in NYC and about to move to Houston Tx... Before I go, I wanted to know if its worth it to take a CNA class and take it there w/ me. I ask that b/c Im hearing CNA's are seldom used. Im considering that path to get my foot in the door then go to school to be a RN. So again, to make a long story short, I'm in hopes for someone to give me some advice on if its a good move to become a CNA... Is it worth it? Thanks in advance to all that read and reply to this thread and Happy New Year to all... Kwam
  7. Thank you sooo much... I do appreciate it. I still have to take the pre req classes till January. I am not sure if I have to wait or not to get into the program. I have to go to the school sometime soon anyway, I will find out if there is a waiting list. I am thinking of doing the EMT thing while I go to nursing school. I am sure u will get into the school. When do u wanna attend?
  8. Hey all, I am planning to become EMT certified thru this summer, then in the fall pursuing a BSN nursing degree @ Lehman College in the bronx. I am only doing EMT to get my foot in the door in the healthcare field. Plus I wanted something flexible to accomodate my school schedule. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can provide some sort of inkling to what I am in store for. I havent decided on which aspect of nursing I will go into. I guess I am just babbling so I will end this here. Thank you for your time reading this, I hope to hear from yall soon.
