Its been 6 weeks already! I'm jonesing for a decision already! I emailed the admin assistant to see if decisions were made yet but no response.

I hope Thanks. Last fall biology was one of the hesi requirements and I passed it barely with like a 76 and not a lot of people passed it. This year there's no biology section so it will be a more competitive pool.

@Forshia It was for financial reasons. Wife still in school and didn't finish school at that time. She had to retake a course. And I have two little ones in daycare and I'm the only one working so....But if she had finished school that fall I could have went.

Yes I got in last fall. Its just my luck. They requirements just changed for Wharton. They now require Teas V. Acc is the only college I have left to hope for.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. I hope we all get in a program this year. I actually just got denied at Wharton. Its not looking good. But we are still in the running for Alvin!

UT sent theirs out and I got denied. So I'm anxiously waiting to hear from Alvin. Also waiting for Wharton.

I would take it if I didn't have anything going on for the summer. Plus, this program is very hard to get in. But if you don't have the drive to go through nursing school then I wouldn't do it. For many, the opportunity you are gettint is an opportunity of a lifetime. Not too many people get this chance so, me personally, I would take it if you're not tied up this summer.

Just got confirmation email today that I got all my stuff in!

I think I will call them. It was on March 30th I found out I was denied for the fall.

Yeah I might still go to the ADN at alvin if I get accepted. I need time for my kids also.

I applied last fall and was an alternate. But i got the alternate decision on April 15th. So, about two more weeks.

I was also denied. I'm bummed. But they denied me for Fall on Myuth. It sucks because I applied for both. 3.25 nursing gpa, 3.50 science gpa and 86 Hesi abd 840 critical thinking. Still have a triangle for summer but I don't know what that means. I guess we'll see.

No i'm not applying to san jac. Only other schools I applied to was ut and wharton since they use the same Hesi exam. Didn't feel like taking the TEAS

They mail you an evaluation of the classes you have taken and the classes they accept. Also, they calculate the gpa you have for the nursing prereqs and science prereqs. It lets you know what classes you might need or where to improve your gpa. No such thing as a dumb question:yes:.

I think some of those summer hopefuls that received acceptance emails may have been on the waiting list. Thats usually how it works.

Hope2015, Have you taken all the classes in between like humanities, psych 2, Micro?

My second time applying. Biology dropped my hesi score but I'm pretty confident I'll get in I hope. I have a BS in technology from U of H so that might help. 86 for the cumulative score and 90 on reading comprehension

I applied at Wharton county junior college and UTHSC houston BSN program. I hope I get into one of them.
