Yes I am really happy working at Methodist. Base pay for new grad is 26.90.- Methodist Hospital (Houston, TX)
I recently got hired at Methodist in the medical center as a new grad for their residency program. So far I love it!! Great educators and preceptors! They really do take care of their employees with bonuses every quarter and a very long training. Everyone is so nice and most of the nurses I have talked to had been working there for over 10 years! They love it there. If you have any questions I'll try my best to answer to the best of my knowledge. Apply!! Requirements: Cumaltive GPA: 3.2 or higher Score a 80% on their NLN test Hesi exit: 900 or 950~ I can't remember exactly As for parking it is free, you will park in a remote parking lot and take the metro rail, all paid for by Methodist.- St. Joseph's Hospital Houston
Because everyone is quitting, even interns!- Need advice, just failed first semester of nursing school
My friend failed out of nursing school and applied to SNU in Oklahoma. They took her, even knowing the fact that she got the boot from the nursing school that failed her. It's a lot of $$$ but if you really want it, then go for it! Good luck!- St. Joseph's Hospital Houston
St. Joseph just increased their base pay to $26.95/hr based on market analysis for new grads. Differentials: evening $3.50 and nights $4.00. No weekend diffs.- New Grad Residency Program in Houston TMC- January 2013
Did your friend do clinicals at MD Anderson?- New Grad Residency Program in Houston TMC- January 2013

Hi all, I am new to this forum and just want to start by saying HI!!!! Also, I was wondering if anyone had applied to The Methodist Hospital for their OR residency and if anyone have gotten an interview? I recently also applied to Texas Children and MD Anderson. Has anyone heard anything from any of these hospitals for an interview?? - Methodist Hospital (Houston, TX)
