It might be a good idea to call them and explain your situation and they may be okay just taking a zip code from you rather than the full address

Hey everyone I just found this thread! I found out today that I got into the program, but I haven't made a final decision yet because I have an interview with UNF next Friday. If I do go to USF, I won't know anyone because I'm a transfer from Miami! If I decide to go, I would love to meet up with some of you at orientation to get to know some people. I'll post my decision on here when it's made. Congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to everyone else on other schools!

It's unfortunate that their space is limited, but I understand why they accept mostly UF students. I know that if I was a student at UF and worked really hard for 2 years and didn't get in I'd be really disappointed. I am veryyy disappointed I wasn't accepted, but I'm staying positive! I just heard back from USF today that I got in and I have a UNF interview next Friday. Good luck to everyone wherever you end up!

Unfortunately I didn't get in. I'm a transfer student from a state college honors program with a 3.95 cumulative and 4.0 prereq gpa. I also did have healthcare experience this semester. Congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to everyone who is also waiting to hear back from other schools!

Didn't get in I am a transfer from an Honors College at a Florida College with a 3.93 cumulative gpa and a 4.0 prerequisite gpa. The only B I had on my transcript was in world history. They must be looking for straight A transfers. Crossing my fingers for the other 3 I applied to!

Haha it can't hurt to apply though! The nursing application opened on December 1st and it's very simple. The FSU application itself isn't too bad either. I say you go for it! I'm a Nole at heart, but still want to go to UF haha

I definitely think clinicals will solidify where we feel most comfortable (well hopefully they will!) It sounds like you have a great game plan so far. Where are you transferring from?

Haha I won't shoot you! I have a lot of friends at UF, which is another reason why I want to go there so badly. I'm not at FSU, I'm at Miami Dade Honors College, which is an honors program in a Florida state college. I'm very nervous about transferring because I know how hard it is for transfer students to be accepted places. I'm also applying to UCF, USF, and UNF as my many back ups. But UF is my top choice with FSU being my second!

I would really like to do pediatrics, but I haven't had the opportunity to explore other areas so I'm not entirely sure. I'm considering going to grad school and will make that decision when the time comes. What about you?

It's one of those careers with a lot of options! I wish you the best in your transfer applications. It can be pretty stressful. Hopefully we'll both be accepted to UF! But backups can't hurt, of course
