Yes I had ACLS BLS and PALS.... I worked in ICU for 4 years before being accepted...

Hey cris I'm Tom I am in the class starting in August as well! Where you from? I am still working on the immunization stuff ! It is a headache! Decide anything as far as housing? Glad to hear from another future classmate!

I agree! They care about your numbers and how well you interview! I was a RN-BSN. I applied interviewed and was accepted. In the interview nothing was mentioned about how I obtained my BSN they just cared I had it. Good luck!

Well I guess that's true still a lot of time.... I'm just nervous about such a big move... I haven't Heard from other students either. FIU told me they would be sending a pAcket out around 3rd or4th week of February. I was going to call the FIU housing and inquire about on campus graduate housing and other students looking for roommates off campus... Good to hear from you keep in touch....

Yeah I was a student nurse extern in the OR. so I was around the anesthesia profession for a year or so and the doctors encouraged me to do it. I think there is a personality to those who perform anesthesia. That helped me make my decision to go to the ICU. I guess I was lucky due to being hired in the ICU straight out of school, but if thats what you want then have to be ready to work hard and ask a ton of questions!
