  1. Loving your patients/residents is creepy? It's called "HUMAN". I love my patients, some more than others, but try to show them love in my care for them no matter what. They deserve that. You better believe the families appreciate it too and are much easier to deal with when they feel comfortable leaving their loved ones in your care. They are less anxious and nervous and sleep better at night. They also deserve that. It "creeps" me out to know that there are nurses out there that find that "creepy". I hope you or your loved ones never have to go through the experience of LTC with a nurse such as yourself.
  2. Too involved??? There needs to be more nurses or people in general who care about these residents properly. Not just their health but their dignity also. So sick of the lazy incompetent idiots who have no business in the health care field. Good to know that when we get old and have lived out the best of our days, we will more than likely be left to sit in our own urine and feces for HOURS because of understaffing, poor attitudes and work ethic.
