I just called the SON about the PID number. It is the number listed after "lwid" in the top left corner of your Connect Carolina page (mine has nine digits).

Don't worry yet!! No news is good news (that's what I'm telling myself)! Plus, it looks like they're changing the MyUNC portal soon, so it could just be a glitch with that.

Mine also says "should". It does say it will be valid for spring 2014, which to me says we got in-state status. Maybe they just say it that way since we haven't been accepted (yet!).
