  1. Does anyone from the past semester or anyone else have a suggestion about how to organize binders/notebooks. Usually during pre-nursing I had a binder and a notebook for each individual class, but I am not sure if that will work for nursing since all the classes somehow collaborate. Also, has anyone here used an uncalendar?
  2. Thanks crebs, I found it!
  3. Where can I find info on about the quizzes? I am assuming instructions and everything will come with the books?
  4. I am glad I got sutter Roseville. It's a really great hospital
  5. Thank you! :) I am just getting started on the requirements and there is so much to do!
  6. Hey guys! Just an update, I got an acceptance email into the program a couple of days ago!!! I am in section 2, anyone else?
  7. Hey crebs I tried to send you a private message right now and it says your inbox is full so I wasn't able to send it.
  8. I found this thread and thought I'd share with everyone :) it's long but offers great advice. https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/tips-nursing-school-707472.html
  9. When i looked at the school plan, it was $120 or so.
  10. Welcome to the site Nevergiveup22 :) I Am alternate # 7 and I haven't heard back from them either. I hope we find out soon. If you find out something, let me know!
  11. Does anyone know how much the first semester nursing bundle costs? I asked the bookstore but they weren't sure about the exact price; they said it's around $900. Is that correct?
  12. hbadhesha - I live in the Natomas area and its about a 15 minute drive to Sac state. It's a newly developed area (10 yrs or so). There are a lot of good apartments here. It's also a very decent area. Plus Natomas is located in the center of Sacramento so all your clinicals wouldn't be far. Let me know if you have more questions.
  13. For those of you that got accepted, did they give you a deadline to submit immunizations, health insurance proof, background checks, CPR etc..?
  14. Thank you so much for the positiveness Crebs! It really means a lot :) I will keep everyone updated
  15. Since I am an alternative, I did not receive a document stating all the required stuff yet. Ahhh now I have to wait longer I kind of have hope because I am number 7 but then I am scared too.
  16. I am alternate # 7 is that good or bad?
  17. Please get the Mcgrawhill 5 Teas Practice exams guide and the ATI study manual I bought about 8 books to study from but at the end the those two were the only ones helpful. Study the ATI manual inside and out as many times as you can. Really try to understand every topic carefully. Know the meaning behind the problems. Give yourself a good couple of weeks and you'll do fine.
  18. It's official, I received my rejection email from ARC's nursing program last night. But good luck and best wishes to everyone who got in :) Cortney - I took the TEAS test couple months ago so let me know if you need some tips :) There is also great advice about the TEAS on allnurses.
  19. Crebs: The open house was yesterday, and Inspace left that comment last night! I am scared
  20. Thanks for letting me know Inspace! I am really nervous now (fingers crossed)!! I really wanted to go to the open house but I wasn't able to because of a class I had during that time. Did they mention anything about what the cut off points might be?
  21. Yeah the fact that I have not received a rejection letter yet gives me some hope.
