I work at a hospital and on a normal day the RN's get 2-3 pts....on a busy day it's 3-4....sometimes 5. So it's better to be over prepared, get as much experience as one can. It will benefit in the long run :-)

Hey Lucy, I know we are in a different program but I think some of the things work out a little similar....like the scheduling? I THINK the admin from school actually signs us up for classes? I'm not really sure about this and didn't know if your letters of info had stated this too? It's weird because I've never had anyone sign me up for school?! Lol. I don't like it. Lol. :)

It did the same for me but there's an option to electronically sign the form....I think it automatically has you do it too. That's how I signed it. I also confirmed with the school and they said it was correcto :-)

Hi there :) Well the LPN takes 11 months (3 semesters). Once you've got the LPN, you can apply to bridge program. The RN bridge program takes 3semesters as well...Which is 1 semester less than regular track. :) BUT, the application requirements are different. One, is to have worked as an LPN for at least six months, second, its only available in the summer semester. So, for me il have at least a year off before going back...if I choose bridge. Or you could get in for the regular track RN :)

I'm so sorry my dear I have had the same problem. I tried to retake a class that I took from FsCJ (got a C), and they wouldn't let me. I also tried at nearby community colleges, and they wouldn't let me. BUT If I'm correct, I think you can retake at UNF? I'm not totally positive tho. I think UNF wants you to retake any classes with less than a B?? But it's more expensive Heres my story....I applied with 189 pts.... I knew that would not be enough so I also applied to the LPN and to my surprise I got accepted. It was the best option for me because I didn't want to wait until next spring to start the RN..( they changed the gosh darn app deadlines)... ugh. So, at least il be able to do the bridge program while working as a super cool LPN I've got the LPN app if you'd like a copy? :) So, maybe look into the LPN? Its only 11 months and It's based off of total GPA, work experience and TABE test scores. The TABE test is similar to the TEAS. Once your finished with the program you can bridge to RN. :) Is this your first time applying? If so, apply again for the Fall semester? Maybe retake the PSBNAT? But it's very frustrating, I know good luck my dear with whatever you do k :)

Here's a better explanation.....lol Log onto Facebook, go to the group page you made, go to far right side of page under " Notifications" and click on "invite by email", and just add their email address. It sends them a direct link to the group. I tried having people look for the group and it couldn't be found. Haha. And with this way, your not actually friends, so your personal stuff is private all you can see is profile pic Good Luck!

Wow, I never thought of Walgreens or CVS? That's very cheap. Thanks Lucy! :-) I only need a physical and MMR titer...thank goodness. My work took care of the rest. I guess we take the physical form with proof of immunization records with? So the doc can write it off as being one? Idk.
