  1. Congratulations! I'm sure we'll see each other! Maybe first day. Is your start date 2/10 as well?
  2. Hey did you hear anything back?!
  3. Thank you so much! I'm so happy. They did say Friday or Monday. So fingers crossed they contact you Monday morning!
  4. I did a resume and cover letter. I didn't do references but I would definitely include them though that's a great idea. Honestly if it wasn't for a recruiter reaching out to me under a fb post IDK that I would've gotten an interview. I was lucky. Hope this helps.
  5. Same! Only need to fill 2 spots for NICU ?. I think my interview went well also. Hopefully I know something tomorrow or Monday but I pray they don't make me suffer all weekend. LOL
  6. Which probably means you didn't get it. That sent out interview invites before Christmas and they started interviews this week. Final decisions made by tomorrow. Sorry ?
  7. The fb group name is DFW nurses.
  8. I'm an external candidate, I made a post in a fb group and a recruiter left her email in a comment, I emailed her and she pulled my application and set up a teams meeting with the fellowship manager. After a 30 min call with them I received an interview invite. I have ER experience but I expressed my desire to further my career to the NNP role. My interview is next week. I'll let you know how it goes.
  9. Starting this thread for anyone who applied to the RN fellowship at UTSW for Feb 2025! I received an email for an interview Monday 12/23 for the NICU. Let's chat!
  10. So it's tradition that we start a fb group right?! Lol
  11. Thanks everyone! I swear it's the best feeling in the world knowing your just that much closer to your dream! And congrats to everyone in so far. It may sound cheesy but for those not accepted DONT GIVE UP! I swear I cried many tears and almost gave up but today getting that acceptance letter made it worth everything! Good luck to you :)
  12. My mailman runs early around 9 or ten everyday so I knew I would be one of the first to know!
  13. It's a regular sized envelope...I'm sure you'll get in its just a matter of the mailman coming !
  14. I got ACCEPTED!!!!!!!! Northlake campus wasn't my first choice but I'll take it! 27 points for anyone wondering! Omg I'm too happy! Btw it's kinda thick and has about 5 pieces of paper. Good luck everyone!
  15. I'm so anxious to get the letter but I just know I'm not gonna want to open it once it's in my hands because I'll be so nervous!!!! Only a few more days to go
  16. Abenton111- how many points does your girlfriend have? That would be awesome if you both got in at the same place!
  17. 7-9 days left! So close!
  18. So we have roughly about 10-12 days before we know?! The fact that it's down to days now instead of months puts me a bit at ease
  19. abenton111- What school was she accepted at?? That would be pretty nice for you both to get accepted to the same nursing school!
  20. You either need your CNA license, be a medical assistant or CMA, or previous PCT experience. Also if you're in your first semester of nursing school they consider that qualified also.
  21. Hopefully this 6 weeks go by fast since now I've been hired as a PCT at Methodist Dallas. Can we say tuition reimbursement?!
  22. Tell me about it! Nothing's keeping me occupied enough to not think about it so much lol
  23. Also a lot of people apply not knowing how serious the people who review these apps are when it comes to the vaccinations!
