    I recommend getting your text (Med-Surg, Pharm, Fundamentals) all in hardback form, but for the reference books such as the dictionary and pharm medication books, etc in e-books. Some e-books (CafeScript) are awful. They are hard to flip through and not a lot of use on my iPad. I have a Mac, and most things are compatible, but look into that as well.
