Thanks Sumokitty! I just got my request accepted to the FB group. I've been reading all the posts and documents, trying to not freak out about all the stuff I need to do. I feel behind already!!! When did you get your acceptance to UT? Just curious since I hadn't heard anything yet. Looking forward to meeting you and all my fellow classmates in January!

Hello everyone! I just had to join after getting such awesome information from all of you. I, too, have been accepted for spring 2013. I'm very excited for January to come around. Has anybody received their new student packet yet? I'm dying to get more details about orientation, signing up for classes, etc. Also, has anybody downloaded the required software we're going to need for clinicals? We're supposed to have a PDA or smartphone with the software. And one more question. I've requested to join the facebook group for our class. UTMB SON Class of Spring 2014, right? How long is the turnaround to be accepted into the group? I just sent my request yesterday but I'm anxious to read the wall posts. On another note, did anybody apply to UTHSC? I've read a ton of posts on that thread but nobody mentions having applied to UTMB. I haven't heard back from UTHSC but when I received my acceptance letter from UTMB, the deadline to accept was Oct. 5th. I had to accept, even though I hadn't heard back from UT. Were any of you in this same situation? Lucky for me, UTMB was my first choice. Looking forward to your comments!
