So my first clincals for my Cna class and everything was going well until one patients. The patient had an massive amount of poop in the diaper and it smelled really bad. I almost threw up if it wasn't for the help of my partner I would have. I felt so bad and I tried really hard to help the patient but I could not handle it. Now I am concerned about the next time I am in a situation like this . I really want to be a Cna on my road to nurseing but I dnt know if I can handle it. Is this a bad sign? Any tips on how to deal with this situation?

Well for some private lvn schools that I checked into there pre reqs say pharmacology and medical dosage calculations and they had them as separate classes

I believe my question is being misunderstood. I need to find a medical calculations class to take preferably online. I have checked the local community college but classes are full. Please help.

Wow I have yet to hear anything from Scc Lvn program.I do have imail as well. I am confused does that mean I did not get in and I do not even get an email?

Hello Does anybody know if ypu get accepted to SCC Lvn program if they email you or send you a letter? Also has anyone heard back from the LVN program yet ? I really am getting anxious now?

You shouldn' t have to submit all your info again if you applied the previous semester but if there is a gap you have to resubmit all your documents again

Well they should send you email to your imail if you did not get in and it should tell you if eligible to reapply again. Are you applying for the lvn program?

Is it worth it to become a Cna on my road too becoming a nurse. I am still not done with my prerequisite and am looking to gain experience. I am thinking about getting Cna training and trying to find a job. But I have a question do Cna's even make decent money(I live in Sacramento)? Will Cna experience help me with nursing as a student and finding a job? I just am unsure.

Hello all. Okay so it's my third time applying for the Lvn program at Scc and I a, nervous. I really really want to get in this time. I am praying it will happen but we still have a couple of weeks to wait and hear back. Anyone else waiting to hear back also?
