  1. I have a job lined up in acute care rehab.
  2. Hi thanks for the response. Are you currently working as an RN?
  3. I am almost done and cannot tell you how glad. COD has been the most disorganized and disappointing two years. The clinical sites are all dried up and outlook is bleak. Pass rate for NCLEX is below 70%. Anyways, I got in without problem. I had a similar rank score. I also was a spring start. I wish you all the best!
  4. Hi! I will be applying to WGU after I graduate next month. I'm an experienced CNA, and hope to continue my employment as an RN at my current hospital. So fast forward - I am torn about WGU. 1.) Will it be more challenging for me to enter the program as a new graduate? 2.) MSN-Ed is the end goal regardless of where I go - however, I have to get my BSN ASAP due to a recent merger at work. Would it be beneficial to test the waters for BSN before MSN?
  5. Hi I'm looking into WGU. What kind of interviews for 65 hours? Also do you have to have a job as you do for the MSN?
  6. I can tell you guys a few things... I'm wrapping up my first semester in the ADN program and have a plenty to say. My rank score was about 13.5. I have spoken to plenty of girls who took almost zero classes at COD, other girls who got C's, etc etc. Overall, I did not think I would get in, but I was not even waitlisted. In my semester, we apparently had over 200 applicants and accepted 80 students. I heard this fall had even less applicants. I highly recommend taking microbiology prior to your acceptance. Overall, the program is okay. Like someone said, our curriculum was updated last Fall which has been a bit of a mess due to confusion and just hiccups while they figure it out. I like the program, personally I don't have any kids. However, I know a lot of girls (and guys!) do have children. I know they struggle at times, but we all do. If you make the time, you'll do great!
  7. Okay I have officially applied to both Aurora and Resurrection... when are you taking the teas?
  8. Which program at ResU? I'm thinking of doing the night time program but I'm apprehensive.
  9. I am applying to Aurora, Lakeview College of Nursing and am looking to apply to a couple more places but am not sure where to look. I'm currently taking some classes at COD still to finish up prereqs. I have a 3.5 GPA but I got C's in A&P 1&2. So I am kind of hindered. I was waitlisted to NIU for Spring and have kind of lost hope.
