Any Pct's in Georgia?
The Job descriptions looking for PCTS require PCT certification, from what I've seen. The CNA is a pre-req for the PCT program. You can't do a PCT program without your CNA. There are combo programs in which you do your CNA and then move into the PCT portion upon successful completion.

Took my state test today...
I took mine yesterday. I had ambulating w gait belt, dressing w weak arm, oral care, respirations count and handwashing. We definitely had stuff tested that wasn't in class. I am praying we both passed. How long is your wait for results?

2013 GHSU CNL applicants
can the current student please speak to the structure of the program? are there clinicals required that are analogous to the BSN clinical requirements in major clinical areas? is there a pro/con to doing the CNL vs the BSN? It seems a bit redundant if one wanted to eventually do APN. It doesnt seem like it is advantageous, but I am unsure. Can anyone please lend insight, even the students that attended the info session. Many thanks

To have a baby or not to have a baby
im in the same boat, debating. have a year left of pre reqs after next semester. i still have the a&p sequence to do fall 2013/spr 2014. i'm debating on having a baby in spr 2014 before hopefully starting a bsn in fall 2014. i have a 1 yr old now, and would ideally like to do the 2 yrs apart gap. i'm thinking about going ahead. as someone said, there's always something that'll come up w school, studying and work that will preclude doing it later, i think. good luck!

Georgia State University Pre-Nursing Students
HI Breezy, how is the program going? I really would love to hear from GSU NURSING students about their experiences. Is it smaller? Same massively huge courses? Are the teachers actually attentive?
