  1. I am doing pretty much the same thing as you. I have been a nurses aide for two years now and decided to get my LPN first since I recieved my business degree from the same school that I'm getting my LPN at. I figured it would be easier since I wouldn't need to redo any classes and so that I can make more money sooner since I am a single mom. I think that the LPN to RN program would be a good next step instead of the LPN to BSN program since most hospitals want nurses to have at least two years RN experience. So while you're getting your RN to BSN program you'll have the two years experience by the time you have your bachelors!!
