I took the nclex and ran out of time, did the pvt! Hear my story...
I felt the same way during my recent attempt. after 100 questions my mind started to get exhausted. During my studying i only did up to a 100 questions at a time. So when the computer kept giving me questions I started to ask myself *****! before I knew it as much as i tried not to look at the time i had 2 minutes left and I was on question 210 and then I click submit and i saw question 211 but didnt get a chance to answer it. i found myself rushing when I got to question 200, but then I started to slow down again but regardless of what I did apparently it didnt work cause I still failed. I plan on retaking it in March. Fingers crossed I hope it my last time. Those $200 are stating to add up. $1000 as of friday when I pay for my 5th attempt.

Failed nclex twice, advice?
I failed the nclex 4 times. recently this past wednesday. I was sure I passed it on my 4th attempt. I used hurst videos, saunders questions and lacharity prioritization. I plan to buy kaplan qbank and uworld for my 5th attempt. i plan on taking it early march. 1st time I stopped on 109 questions 2nd and 3rd time I stopped on 75 questions 4th time I stopped on 211 only because I ran out of time. I was devastated after my 4th attempt. I left the building feeling numb cause I didn't realize that I was there for whole 6 hours, but I was optimistic and kept telling myself that I passed because I studied harder then the first 3 times. after 2 days, i paid quick results and found out that I failed. Now I'm confused as to where to begin or continue. But one thing for sure i wont give up. 3 years nursing school wasn't for nothing.

Passed NCLEX on my 5th attempt
i read it somewhere on this site as well and everyone was going back forth as to which answer it was. Ironically, i just so happen to get the same question on my boards. i figured that sodiem is 10 points lower the normal value whereas potassium is 0.1 less then the normal value. So I choose sodium, but on the other post majority choose potassium. i find out tomorrow whether if i pass. my fingers are crossed.

Just took my nclex
I know the normal values. I just want to know which would be your choice IF it were on the nclex!!! í ½í¸Ží ½í¸Ž I know low sodium causes seizures and low potassium affects the cardiac system but I know on majority of electrolyte issues potassium take priority

Passed NCLEX-RN 2015 (Ran-out-of-time)
i took my boards yesterday and i ran out of time. the computer shut off 211 questions and i didnt get a chance to answer the 211th question so i dont know if thats going to affect me in any way. i didnt do the PVT trick. im going to wait the 48 hours and pay for quick results.

Just took my nclex
So I took my boards and ran out of time. I stopped on 211 questions in 6 hours. I came home a nervous wreck. My confidence level was way up when I passed 75 questions when I noticed I was still getting questions . At first I started to take my time thinking I should read the questions twice and answers twice. I answered 50 questions in 2 hours. Then I took my first break. I went to the bathroom. I washed my face and mentally told myself I need to pick up the pace. So after my break I read the questions and answers once, I picked my first choice and what I thought was the best answer and kept it moving. I'm anxious to do the PVT trick but scared I might get the bad pop up. So until I get my results, I'm going to continue to hope and pray that I passed. I read somewhere if someone run out of time the last 60 questions on the exam are evaluated to determine whether you passed or not. I got a lot of delegations, prioritization, maybe 15-20 SATA, a lot of procedures (TEE, MRI, swallow eval, endoscopy,), very few pharm(thank god), and a lot of therapeutic responses.. By the way which electrolyte would you find to be critical a patient with: Sodium level of 125 Potassium level of 3.4 I'm curious!!

Passed NCLEX on my 5th attempt
congratulations. im on my fourth attempt. i take my boards at 2pm today. ive been up since 4 in the morning reviewing labs values. after i dropped my child off to school i came home, had breakfast and then did 25 priority and delegations from lacharity and i did another 25 questions in content from saunders. im so nervous. i dont know what to do with myself. ive been keeping track of the amount of questions ive done since i started studying in december and i counted a total of 3500 (from hurst review questions, saunders, lacharity, and kaplan trainer 6 and 7). i think ive done more questions this time around compared to the first 3 times i tested, so fingers crossed hopefully today is my last time taking my boards.

Just took my nclex
I take my nclex tomorrow and i'm a nervous wreck. this will my 4th attempt. I watched all the hurst reviews and the review questions, saunders, and lacharity. i feel like ive spent so much money on uworld and Kaplan that i figured i would just work with the resources i have on hand. the last 2 times i stopped on 75 questions and the first time i got to 96 questions. i was sure i passed it last time but apparently i didn't. a part of me feels ready another part of me feels like i should reschedule. i did approximately 100 a day for about 2 months with a few days off in between. im so ready to pass my boards and put it behind me.:
