  1. Im working full time currently- waiting until I get my schedule to figure out if I'll drop my hours to PT or just quit:( so excited to be in the program but nervous about the income loss also... I did work two jobs during pre nursing- but I know the program will require a lot more studying so I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for a schedule that allows me to work 15-20 hours! We will see good luck to everyone!
  2. I asked if the "don't register for classes applies to the toolbox class and they said no- it's fine to register for the toolbox ?
  3. The Vaccine Center offers a complete array of student health services including vaccinations, school physicals, TB skin testing, drug screening and blood testing for immunity (termed titers). We carry and have in stock all school vaccines available in the U.S.How students save MONEY with our services? We offer student discounts (with student ID) for all Allied Health program school vaccines. We waive the administrative/office fee for students for all Allied Health program school vaccines. *Other clinics can charge up to $25 administrative fee per visit. *This can add $75 extra to a three shot series like Hepatitis B Vaccine. We can review student's vaccination records and offer ONLY the vaccines needed based on the schools requirements which can help save time and money. We can draw blood titers in house for vaccines you may already have had or been exposed to, as proof for you school. *This can be a fraction of the cost of getting the vaccine again. We email you the titer results!!Our Titers prices are up to 50% lower than most labs.We can make help students complete vaccines for clinical rotations or school deadlines *by scheduling *vaccines in a series in advance. *We even send you an email reminder when your next vaccine is due!Unlike some clinics, we read the results of both steps of a 2-step TB skin test. *If positive on the 1st-step, then you don't need to pay or have a 2nd-step.We keep Electronic Medical records and also input all vaccinations into the Nevada WebIZ Database, so you will have a permanent immunization record for the rest of you career.Northwest Location:2051 N. Rainbow Blvd, Suite 100Las Vegas, NV 89108702-800-2723Some stuff I found on the Vaccine Center's website.
  4. Also if you have ever done any type of food handling that requires a health card you've probably had the Hep A vaccine- I got the shots when I went to the health district to get food handlers health card... I don't believe they are required for the program but just an FYI :)
  5. If you think you've has the chicken pox you can get the titer done at CPL labs- I paid 35 bucks as a cash patient last year so it shouldn't be too much more than that now- you will need a doctors order for the lab itself but most doctors will order it if you ask during your physical.
  6. I'm planning to be there about 12:30-12:45 because I'm doing a trunk or treat that evening! Hope to meet a few people as well!
  7. Got my call at 9:45! Full time, Whoo hoo! Congrats everyone?
  8. Good luck everyone! I'm glad to have found this website, it has definitely helped with the waiting... Hopefully we get our calls this morning!
  9. Hello just reading through all this info. Thanks everyone for sharing! I also wanted to let everyone know that you can have your doctor order your titers at CPL lab. They have very low cash prices! It was only $35 for the varicella versus $200+ for the vaccines. Hope we all get good news soon!
