I've been a PCU/Stepdown RN for about 2 years now and I'm considering travel. I have a family with 2 school age children and 1 preschooler. My husband is a stay at home dad. I know that traveling with a family can be done, but I'm wondering does everyone who does this homeschool? What are tips and tricks for traveling with family in tow? Also, I've spoken with a manager and anticipate an offer soon from Roper in Charleston, SC. Does anyone have any experience with this organization? To further throw a kink into my decision, I was just called for a M-F School nurse position here where I live. It would be a pay cut and I know I would get tired of it, but it would be a great schedule for my family. Am I being selfish by considering dragging my family with me? Although I know I'm the one who has to decide, any advice and perspective is appreciated. Thanks!
