  1. Hey Everone! I really need great suggestions. I work in a very busy office. We have 2 doctors,2 MAs and me the nurse. Each doctor has a MA and I work with only one doctor. But I recieve about 50 phone calls(just for the 1 doctor), messages and walk ins to (talk to the nurse) every day. The receptionist does screen all calls and only puts emergency calls, pharmacy, other office calls back (this help alot) I have thought about 1 MA answering all calls rotating the calls weekly and having whoever is on calls giving allergy shots, refferals, setting up MRIs and ect.. any suggestions thanks beth

  5. I love being a nurse. I really can't imagine doing anything else. Beth:nurse:
  6. welcome and congrats on your retirement/my brother is a marine and just got out and struggled with the same problem. He could not decide wiether to go back into the marines or he was really intrested in radiology but..... he has gone back in service. I think nursing really has to come from the heart. You have to love it and everything about it. If it is in your heart go for it. It is a great job but the difference in a good nurse and a great nurse is the passion for your patients. good luck and best wishes beth
