I was an alternate so they said they ordered my first name tag but they never said when i would get it or where to pick it up. Any alternates here who ended up getting their name tags?

The ebook only option was the one I saw on the bookstore's website. I decided to go old school and just get the hard copies from Amazon and I've already started getting my books! I've also been getting supplies from there, I have yet to get a name tag and I had no idea it would be that much Thanks for the info!

Did anyone get just the books option, I was just wondering, the quote they gave us for the bundle, is that all new books or is that used and new? I got each book separately online and I spent around $400 including one of the recommended books. I just haven't decided if I got a good deal or not, I know that it is a lot cheaper than the individual prices they had on the book sheet.

hey everyone! i was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about alternates? i know there are some spots that opened up, please let me know if you guys hear of any alternates getting phone calls. they told me they'll make calls sometime this week. keeping my fingers crossed and butt cheeks clenched still lol.

I suggest finding insurance first that is reasonably priced and will cover immunizations. That would be way cheaper, even if you had copay.

Thank you :) I really appreciate it. I'm just going to go to the orientation classes and hope for the best, but worst case scenario I start in the Fall (I'll have at least 29 points for next time). I was 6th or 7th on the list... so I'm hoping at least 8 people don't accept hahaha.

Did anyone find out the total number of applicants (including late entries?) I'm not keeping my hopes up but that's cool, I can wait a little longer. Good luck with the program!!!

GAh, i can't take it anymore! i actually dreamt i got a call last night (so glad it wasn't a nightmare cause in my dream i got accepted) but when i woke up it didn't make me feel any better at all and in fact, just made my anxieties worse. I think my heart will give out if I don't get a call by Thursday!

I know the long wait is nerve wracking! I was just trying to make you guys feel better ^^ you all have great scores so I'm sure you guys have nothing to worry about! As soon as you guys hear from the school please let the rest of us know! I just really want to start the program already this prerequisite business has taken long enough.

Seriously. Anyone with 26 points or higher shouldn't worry at all. I only have 24 so I'm hoping the small number of applicants will help me out but they said that they might change the maximum number of students to be accepted (per debbie) and she said that not everyone might get in even though its way less than the original maximum. And she said I should hear back before end of October, like that helps lol. Good luck everyone!

Holy crap, that's great news! Thanks for sharing! I'm pretty sure it send on the prerequisite sheets that there's a maximum 136 open spots for Spring 2013! If so, wow!! Thanks so much for your response! I was just hoping that there aren't too many people with really high points that applied and that people with the same amount of points as I didn't bother lol. But yeah I'm not keeping my hopes up, I just wanted to apply just in case :) And its good to know it actually takes way more than the 15 days it says on the website, I've been waiting assuming it would come out next week!

How many points did all of you have when you applied (I know some of you already mentioned it)? I was not at all planning on attending CSN so I put off COM 101 until this fall so I couldn't get the 5 points for it, its the only pre-req I'm missing, too. I have 24 points so far (I didn't get a 95 on the TEAS like I wanted!) but I figured I'd apply anyway even though when I spoke to limited entry office they said 26 points is the safest. Anyone else apply with points as low as mine? Also, they're supposed to tell us their decision 15 days after application, right? Is that via mail only or will they e-mail us, too? I'm sooo anxious to find out, I'm not getting my hopes up too high but it would so amazingly fantastic if I get in!
