  1. Good Luck with your studies and your career and Congratulations! It will motivate many including myself who thought that 50 was too old to further one's career... Very nice!!!
  2. Hi Fallon: I read what you posted and I wanted to know if this for the LPN training or for the test? I am interested in taking an accelerated LPN course and I am wondering where in Manhattan is this possible... I would appreciate any information you could pass on. Thank You! NYCBabyNurse...
  3. Hello Everyone: I am new here, found the site last night and though I am not a Medical Nurse I have had a lot of experience working as a Baby Nurse with newborn babies. I am 50 years young and I am interested in going for the 2 year RN Program and I wanted to know if anyone could advice me. Is anyone familiar with the 2 year Program? Also if I took this program can I chose to be a Pediatric Nurse? Also you can imagine that I have been out of school for a very long time and I am going to need extra help because my brain has been off school wise for a very long time... :) I have had medical issues since December 2003 and was in the hospital for a month this past June, I am coming along but I wonder if someone could advise me as to which areas of math are essential for Nursing and what other subjects I need in the beginning. I ask because while I am recouperating I am thinking of getting a tutor, especially for math and I need to know exactly which areas are needed when entering the nursing field, this will at least help me somewhat to be able to understand what the instructors are talking about when I go for the classes. I hope to receive some advice from some of you. You could email me directly at [email protected] Thank You Very Much.
  4. Hi: I am new here and I wonder if someone could help me by telling me how to post my own subject here... I see only where I can reply to post's but I do not see how to post nor where is post new subject link. I posted my first post last night but I only could do so under reply as I am doing here now. I am 52 and I live in NYC. I am a Baby Nurse and I would like to go to school to take the 2 year RN Program, I prefer Pediatric Nursing... I wonder if anyone here could tell me what areas of math is needed for Nursing and what other subjects are needed as well. Thank You in advance Everyone for your help... I was so nervous to post here until I read everyone's posting on here. I can relate to this board! Take Care All!
