  2. Thank you so much that helps a lot. I am aiming to read as I have learned so much from the first few chapters. I have a plan to read a chapter at least everyday and stay on task. Hopefully it goes well. I know nothing so I need all the information as possible. Thanks again and good luck to you this semester.
  3. I was wondering do you read all the chapters? I am starting my reading and I enjoy it so far but it is a lot of reading. Do you recommend reading all the chapters or focusing on PowerPoints?
  4. Thank you for all the information!! Good luck to you and its nice to hear from someone full of knowledge for us scared newbies.
  5. So sorry for your loss. Yes homework opens tomorrow. Good luck. I'm so nervous,no negativity just stay organized and go with the flow. If I fail 3xs ill never quit. Just keep doing the best we can ans go with the flow. See ya next Friday.
  6. I hope everyone is resting. Next week our homework will open up. I'm starting to get nervous as the semester is so close.
  7. Ok so when you all go get books, if you get the big box option beware that thing is heavy. I parked in A and walking to my car was a workout for sure. Probaly should have opened it and threw a few in my back pack. WOW !! So Im ordering a new book bag because mine is done. Anyone thinking about getting a roller if so have you found any besides the ones at JJC?
  8. Also keep in mind getting use to the nursing program will be hard enough, so if you have not worked with ebooks yet it might be hard to get use to. I know a few people struggled this semester
  9. Thank you I will be saving some money and getting it done quicker because I am going there.
  10. Do you do the one for health care providers? And is this one acceptable at Jjc.
  11. I ordered all my stuff got some stuff that cost more but it will be worth it at allheart.com the Littman classic se 2 has great reviews. I have a doc appointment Friday and I have to set up the other test. Thanks for the info I will look into Edwards and save $ I am registered at Jjc the Thursday before our big meeting.
  12. I thought the new builiding was opening in In August 2013 but that is very exciting

  15. Thank you Emerald. Seeing everyone say enjoy time now I am trying to relax and enjoy before January gets here. Super nervous. Im very nervous now that I made it but having upper class be so helpful is awesome.
  16. Holy cow I'm jumping up and down screaming for u. I was crossing my fingers and checking in to see if u made it. I'm sooooo happy for u and even more cause we are in nights together;)))) congrats.
  17. I can't wait to go get more information schedules and all. I already made a Dr appointment for my physical and I'm nervous to start but can't wait.
  18. I have heard to start looking at nursing incredibly easy books. They have some in the jjc library to. I got one today. Just good to start looking at. Also freshen up in math ratio stuff for medications. I have the math from nursing 100 good idea to look it over if you can. Good luck and congrats to you as well.

  20. Thanks so much for posting this. Just one more ? Can u apply to get hour CNA license after that class is over ?
  21. matka can u tell me about the times of the nursing program? I do not have my cna but just curious thanks
  22. Katie I will most def say a few prayers for you because you will be in the nights program with me and it would be great having such an awesome person in my group. If it is meant to be it will and we can only pray for you now. Last semester that is how a few got in. Fingers crossed, prayers and if not you have many classes to take. Good luck
  23. You are def way better then me so do not beat yourself up at all. You did better then the girl that got in!! You just had to finish those classes and by the way after I finished reading your post I will say you are on the right track. Stay at JJC you will def get in next time. Scores like that you will make the standards very high next time. Keep strong and get these other classes done. You are not wasting time at all just getting things accomplished and all the time with God by yourseide he always has it all under his plan. GOD BLESS YOU AS YOU PUSH FORWARD!!!
  24. Well First I am so sorry you did not get in but I will share my scores. I got 79 on reading and 72 overall and the 6 classes that they count for the gpa I got a 4.0. So you def did better then me. I think its having those classes done you get those points added on your total to get in. I did get in the nights program but probaly by sliding in at the end. each of the 6 done and the grades can really boost a score up point wise. So at least you have done it and are prepared to do it again. You are a great student and I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and with God by yourside you will conquor all. I had my schedule for January all picked out just in case but now I am in. So try to talk to an advisor I love Jorie she is very helpful and this semester I am in classes I will need for BSN and I was going to do the same thing for next semester. So think of it as getting more needed classes done that you will need anyway. I went to St Francis and you actaully have a few more to do before even getting in there program so keep taking those classes and keep your great positive thoughts up and good luck to you.
  25. Thank you so much for your time and all the great information!!! Congrats on doing awesome and good luck in all you do.
