  1. I have 19/25 points as well, and haven't heard anything.
  2. I was told it would be through E-mail, because I am going out of country this Wednesday and I wanted to clarify that I didn't need to physically be here to receive it. The advisor told me, no I just need access to my e-mail.
  3. Placements have started. If anyone hears anything, please feel free to comment and let us know from which school! Thanks!
  4. Hi, I did not see a forum for us that have applied this round of CEP for Fall 2018, so I figured I would start one. I applied for GCC weekend and Ottawa with 19 points (I believe).
  5. Hi, They never got back with me on the average score. I put my name on the list for the Gateway evening non-CEP program, but also plan to study and re-take my HESI to see if I can score high enough to get me in the 20 point range to try and get in earlier and into the weekend program, which is what would work best for me.
  6. I emailed the school with my question, so we'll see what they respond with. I'm thinking I have to retake my HESI to get more points with this new system.
  7. Hi, For those of you who got in this last round, can you tell me how many points you had?
  8. When I went in and spoke with the advisor last Wednesday, he actually went over the point system with me and gave it to me on paper. I have all my pre-req done for the university, and have a prior degree (which you only get 2 points for that, no matter what the degree from AA-Doctor). He did suggest I retake the HESI, to get more points from that. I just forgot to ask him how many points the students have that are getting in. If the students getting in all have 25 out of the 25 points available, then only retaking the HESI isn't going to cut it for me. He told me I currently am sitting at 16 points.
  9. Hi, I met with a nursing advisor yesterday, and was explained the point system. I forgot to ask him though what the average points are, for the people getting into the CEP program. I am specifically looking for the Glendale weekend program, but would like to hear from anybody if they happen to know. I am trying to think of how many points I need to be competitive. Thanks.
  10. At GCC it would be Spring. I didn't know if they included an orientation date or anything in the email that was sent out.
  11. For those that got accepted into Glendale Community College, when is orientation? Thanks.
  12. I have not heard anything. I'm thinking I didn't get in.
  13. I'm waiting to hear from GCC weekend, and now I am getting nervous!
  14. I received an email from ASU today that basically stated that the prior email I received saying I have been accepted into the CEP program with them, was a mistake and I have not been accepted yet.
  15. Thanks! I received an email from ASU on Tuesday with acceptance, just waiting to hear back from Glendale now! í ½í¸«
  16. Is GCC Glendale community college or Gayeway? I am waiting to hear back from Glendale so trying to see if other people have heard from them yet.
  17. I applied to Glendale too, but I have not heard anything back from them yet. I have heard from ASU though. If anyone from Glendale hears anything, please let me know!
  18. Just FYI- I got an email today from ASU accepting me into the CEP portion, as long as I am accepted into the Maricopa Nursing.
  19. Hm, I didn't get my application back. They took both of them.
  20. Hi Everyone! I submitted both the CEP and the CC Nursing application yesterday at Glendale CC for the weekend program. I did not get a time stamp or anything for the CC application, and am not sure if that matters but I see lots of people talking about it. Anyways, I submitted CC for only the weekend program as I work 10 hour shifts during the week. As far as University I put ASU, UIU, and Ottawa so we'll see what happens!
  21. My boss would, 1 of our co-workers is currently in the weeknight program, so I see her stressing out about the long days, plus she still has class on the weekends sometimes so she doesn't get much time to study. My thought is that it might be less stressful having the classes on the weekends, when I am not working, and be able to study during the weeknights but I could be wrong.
  22. Thanks for the reply! I do not think you are being rude or anything, I honestly appreciate the input. The reason why I can really only do the weekend program is because I currently work as an MA at a hospital, in surgeries and work 4 - 10 hour shifts. I work from 7am-5:30pm, so I do not get out of work early enough to make the weeknight classes, plus I have a child at home.
  23. Hi, I will be applying for the weekend program at Glendale Community College after I finish this Math class in May. When I started working towards the Nursing program, GCC was not 100% CEP, and now they are. Unfortunately doing the weekend program is the only option I can do due to my work schedule and such. I have heard from several people that the BSN classes are not hard, just time consuming, but that is time that is taken away to study for the Maricopa classes if needed. My question is, has anyone started the CEP and after the 1st semester decide it was just too much? Are we able to stop the CEP and continue on in the Nursing program? If it ends up not being too stressful, great but I want to make sure I haven't gone through all this for nothing, if it ends up being too much to do while working full time.
  24. Cutting my hours is not an option for me, which is why I am nervous about taking it all on. I have an opportunity to go through a Histology program that I might end up going with instead of nursing, because I figured it would just be too much to take on.
