  1. You are NEVER too old!! I will be 37 in December and going to start school in April 2013. When I went to information night at school I was the youngest at 36! The oldest was almost 60. If Nursing is something you really want to do GO FOR IT!! You can do it!
  2. I had a Pharmacist do this to me at Walgreens. I was picking up antibiotics and he took them out of the package and showed me the label and then read it to me. He then proceeded to ask me if I was sexually active?!?! I just stood there dumbfounded. He then explained if I were on bc I needed to use extra precaution because if your on bc and taking antibiotics you will lose the affects of the bc. I was only 18 at the time and didn't know this information so I guess it was helpful but I think the Pharmacist could have went a different route...
  3. I took my test in June and missed it by 2%. I used the McGraw Hill study guide. I have recently purchased the ATI study guide and should get it tonight. I did horrible on the Science. The questions on the test were nothing like the questions in the study guide. I'm going to take the test next month and hopefully get in the January 2013 class.
  4. I took the TEAS V test in June and made a 56. The school I want to get into requires a 58. I missed it by 2%. The next class starts in January. I want to take the test again but cannot seem to get myself motivated to even open the study guide. It's very overwhelming. I'm afraid I'm not going to pass again. I have been using the McGraw Hill study guide. I've read a lot about the ATI study guide. I'm wondering if I should get the ATI guide and try studying that? Any ideas, suggestions or tips would be very helpful.
