Ca nclex denied. Nclex nevada application.
All you need is Saunders book. Try to understand the rationale. Memorize the labs & try to understand pharma like actions, reactions, etc... If you want to see how they structured the exam, you can subscribe to NCSBN. They are the ones who makes the questions for the exam. There is a fee like $50 for 3 weeks, $75 for 5 weeks, etc. You can subscribe online & do the practice questions online. The practice questions that they will give you are questions they used on past exams. Please understand that the practice questions will not be used anymore in future NCLEX exam. In other words, they are retired from service! The advantage of doing the NCSBN is you'll sort off have an idea how they worded the questions. Questions are more critical thinking unlike NLE.

California Pass Letter transfer to other State
Congrats Kabayan! You only take NCLEX-RN exam once and it applies to all 50 US states. Same as NLE in the Philippines, whether you take the NLE in Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao. Only 1 exam to get licensed. Here in the US, each state have different rules & requirements to award you the license. Some state like california need SSN, concurency, etc... but other state may need toefl in addition to SSN for the Board of Registered Nursing of that state to award you a US RN license. So better check their website for each state you are applying for the requirements. Passing NCLEX-RN exam is only one requirement, you have to fulfill other requirements before they can grant you the license number. For now, your status is NCLEX passer not yet full blown Licensed RN. You can only endorse RN license (with actual license number). All 50 states can always check your exam in the computer if you pass it or fail which is the easy part. But fulfilling all the requirements is much more challenging specially for foreign grads. It all boils down to immigration. No shortcut to immigration. It's much more difficult to get approved in immigration than get approved to have RN license. I seen a lot of denials in US Embassy in Manila who wanted to come to US with different educational backgrounds.

Which state is the fastest and more cheap to have an endorsement?
Hello kabayan. You have no RN License (no card and no license number) so there is nothing to endorse. You just pass the NCLEX exam. You endorse your License number NOT your NCLEX passing score. Passing the NCLEX is not the only requirement for RN license, you have to have SSN also and criminal background check including immigration status. Since it's been more than 2 yrs, your application for license is discontinued. People with RN license (card and license number) have to renew every 2 yrs and you have to take 30 hrs of continuing education before applying for renewal. If you fail to renew, your license is placed as inactive and you cannot work as an RN. The employer will suspend you without pay or terminate you.

NCLEX Lisence NOT verified...PLEASE HELP!
Hello kabayan. You have to do the whole immigration thing to be processed for SSN. You have to apply for work visa at US Embassy in Manila. When you get your work visa, you have to apply for SSN (Social Security Number) at your nearest Social Security office. They look at your immigration status, US immigration stamp on your passport, passport, birth certificate, and many more. Social Security is similar to SSS in the Philippines, after you retire at the age of 65 yrs old you get monthly pension from gov't. You have to be on a H1B visa (working visa), immigrant, or US citizen status inorder to get a Social Security Number valid to work in the US. Then, you apply for a state ID which also checks your immigration status again, passport, and SSN. When you have all these, then you are ready to go. All employers, when you apply for a job, gives you an application to fill-up and make copies of your ID, green card or visa, and SSN to make sure you are valid to work not illegal immigrant. Then you have to undergo a background check & medical check-up.

Hi machonapapapa. What is your immigration status? Is it immigrant visa or tourist visa? If you are on a working visa approved by the Department of Homeland Security / Immigration, you can get SSN.

NCLEX application: Which states don't require Social Security number?
By the way kabayan. You don't have a license yet because they would not issue you a license #. You are just considered an NCLEX passer. Therefore, you cannot endorse to any state because there is nothing to endorse.

NCLEX application: Which states don't require Social Security number?
All 51 state requires SSN (Social Security Number). Federal Gov't runs the SSN, therefore, if you plan to work in the US you need SSN. You need SSN in any kind of job like nursing, engineering, accounting, medicine, dentistry, law, pharmacy, marketing, etc. SSN is also a form of identification. System is connected to DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) w/c is another ID (ie.driver's license). It is also connected to DHS (Dep't of Homeland Security) w/c is immigration. If you are caught by police or questioned by employer about your SSN and you cannot provide it, they suspect you already as an illegal immigrant. In Arizona they can arrest illegals & deport back to Philippines w/o documentation. I know of one nurse who got promoted but the employer found that she does not have valid SSN, therefore, they fired her because that is considered fraud. Good thing she was not reported. SSN is like SSS in the philippines. When you get a job, some portion of what you earn goes to Social security, medicare, etc... And when you retire like 65+ years old, you get a pension on a monthly basis provided you worked 10 years or longer. Please check this site. It is the Official website of Social security... The United States Social Security Administration Also watch the show about immigraton by Michael J Gurfinkle. They have lots of immigration questions there that might help.
