  1. I have an inbox ? And private message at this site ? Where? How do you find it ?
  2. NURSES HAVE NO KRYPTONITE...
  3. I saw a gentleman in the store with 3 kids about 6 to 8 years old. They all had on gloves and no mask. I tried to explain they really needed a mask and they would be better off washing their hands than wearing gloves. He not so politely told me I was wrong and the gloves provided better protection. I paid for my items and as I walked away I suggested that he should tell one child to take his fingers out of his nose and the other two to stop blowing their gloves up like a balloon. BY WEARING A MASK, THE EXHALED VIRUSES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ESCAPE AND WILL CONCENTRATE IN THE NASAL PASSAGES, ENTER THE OLFACTORY NERVES AND TRAVEL INTO THE BRAIN. SO YOU'RE SAFER TO GO WITH OUT A MASK THAN TO WEAR ONE.
  4. A night of 1000 waterfalls. Who named this stuff go- lightly?

  6. When my mask gets dirty I can just turn it over to the other side.
  7. Let me get this right, you helped stand the pt. up and he had a loose wet bowl movement on your shoes. So you vomited on him ? (True story)
  8. WE have lost several at our facility and I (We ) are working hard at keeping out covid 19. We monitor residents 4 time a day minimally , The staff is checked twice daily . We are on lock down, we do tele conferences, wash all materials before they come in the door, we all wear mask( Which we recycle as many days as possible and 3 months ago you would have been written up for that offense) but thats another subject altogether. But with all the hard work and dedication of the staff and those making us masks we are still covid free. We do have staff who have said if we get a case in the building they will not be back.
  9. Since I'm outta work, I'll thaw out a couple steaks for you to cook when you get home from work.
  10. A pt said "I dont have to wear a mask " I asked why and she replies " I cut two small pieces and shoved them up my nose ." Well dont you breath thru your mouth ? She then replies "Thats when I hold my breath.". We needed toothed pickups to remove them..

  13. I am a male nurse and I went into a patients room and politely introduced myself and explained I needed to put a cardiac monitor on her. She was OK with this and I put it on her and walked out of the room . I was halfway down the hallway and I heard her screaming. All of the nurse's ran to her room and when I came through the doorway she started yelling at me "Why are you monitoring my titties " It was a long running joke at my expense at work.
  14. IF I have to write another care plan my head will explode.
  15. Looks like Mrs Smith was not discharged today.
